Pretty amazing entries so far!  :o I'll comment further and announce the winners tomorrow noonish, so if you haven't submitted anything yet, now would be the time.  :)
#82
I sent the story how I got it from Antonio to Jon just now.
#83
Okay... I've done my part and send it to Akatosh.
#84
Yeah that's really beautiful.  :o
This piece would make a fine tutorial, if you zyndikate would have time to do it. I would read it in a heartbeat. Very nice work.
#85
You got me! Guilty as charged.  ;) :D

EDIT: I got the text from Antonio just now and I'm starting to work on it.

If he has been last active 25th of march then what are the odds he'll show up in the next 10 hours? I'd say skip him.
#87
That was something else Obi. I really liked the lyrics.  ;)
I can see that song easily climbing the charts. Apparently it already got in to the papers over the controversial lyrics.  :D

Wow! There are already many great entries!  :o This is shaping up to be quite the competition.  ;D
Here's a few words about the entries thus far.

I laughed so hard when I saw Bloody 'el back in the flesh. Nicely done Cherubgeist. Who would have known the mic & mac compo seems to work against the public even after his death. People use to run to see him, now they run not to be in him.

I know I could outrun the king by leaving couple of puppies and sweet ol' grandmas for the El Diablo to feast on, but miguels bananahammock-guy seems to be fast and coming "straight for us". In this case I wouldn't hesitate to "fewen out their numbers". I indeed believe you miguel that situation is serious.

Domino's undead from outer space has a lot of undead-like qualities: those throbbing veins, red eyes and greenish hue. I wouldn't like to be at the receiving end of that either. Now is that blue jacket a hot new trend in the outer space or just something he threw on from the spacecloset we won't know until we meet him.

Andorxor's couple is a fine example how devious the undead can be. Sure they seem to be having fun and smiling to you from the goodness of their lack of heart, but they're carrying a mummy of Jadepharaoh. Now I'm not a fancy city layer but I think that's not a good thing. I think they're off to resurrect they're dead buddies and do something catastrophical in nature. Smiling all the way.

You know it, I know it. They're here! The Worlds Assembly of Zany Undead Picturers have contacted me and you in this grandmother of all crisis. In the next 96 to 218 hours the world will become infested with this new type of undead -type of things, but there is still time if we act fast and inform the public. In our conference we were shown these photographs of the undead thingamy. But because we are picturers we will inform the public by:

1. Me drawing the outline of what we have seen is this undead (and end of all mankind). CHECK
2. By you filling in the details of this monstrosity (because you are good with colors and such). STILL TO DO

Then we will transmit this picture-information to all the people in all the lands through the FOX news network and hopefully somebody will take it seriously.

Rules:
- Draw something "undead"
- No colour limit
- You can flip and rotate the outline
- You can resize the image if you like, but no more than 400 x 400 pixels
- The outline can be modified slightly, but must be recognisable
- You can place objects on top of the outline but the outline must remain recognisable
- Background makes it prettier

- Creative ideas and good execution are rewarded

The Worlds Assembly of Zany Undead Picturers (WAZUP) would like to present these awards for the most profound breakthroughs in undead pictography.

I really liked that one Boojiboy. I especially liked what you did to that melody. Very catchy! And the whole atmosphere is great. 8) You have set the bar for this competition. Nicely done!

Thank you very much Ghost for this shiny award! And congrats to everybody for good submissions. I'll try to start the next comp as soon as possible.

That was really interesting read. I don't know what to make of it yet. But here's a little something on the lawsuit filed in Hawaii for putting the LHC on hold and reassessing the safety of the machine.

There's info about the different kinds of bad scenarios that could happen. All in all it seems that these scenarios are unlikely according to the majority of scientists.

You never know though... Sometime the Earth was considered flat.

Justin Timbersea is trying to make his new hot track for the masses but can't come up with anything else than this here:

Justin Timbersea's effort
(click on the little play button on the left after it appears in the image or download from the "download file" link)

So your manager calls you and tells you this is it. Timbersea sent a package with all the different instruments to the record company and wants somebody to make a good remix of that pitiful song. This is what you've been waiting for. Take the song and the instruments and make a new no.1. hit with a remix. It doesn't matter what kind of song you make as long as it makes the top spot in the charts. Now go and become famous!

Justin Timbersea's instrument package
(click on the "download file" link when it appears after few seconds)

RULES

1. You have to use atleast one of the melodic instruments for atleast half the length of the clip in the mix. (This doesn't mean it has to be continuos. You can use two times 1/4 of a clip and so on)
2. The song should be atleast 0:45 long but no more than 2:00. Preferred length is 1:30.
3. You should have fun while doing this  :D

The record company would like to present these honorary medals to the three top remixers at the end of the competition:

The wave files are compressed into a rar file and they are tempo synced so that whatever bpm you use they should sync itself accordingly. If your host program doesn't know how to do that you can always sync them manually. The native bpm in the clips are 80 bpm. If any problems arise, just contact me.

EDIT: Here's one pizzicato and piano piano roll to help you in the remix making:

Thank you very much for the honors. I'll try to cook something interesting up for the next competition. Kudos also to the other contestants!  :)

Maybe it would be good to write here (like in the last comp) when you have sent the e-mail forward. That way the next one knows to look for it.

AGS announces partnership with Microsoft, Valve
...said Buck Lamborghini, Sub-Vice President of Marketing at Valve Software.

...said Jim Schnapps, corporate deputy vice president executive of Xbox LIVE at Microsoft.

...From now on, I will take a more hands-off approach, but still provide guidance to the new team in Bangalore who will be developing XNA Adventure Studio further."

...1024x768 resolution with full motion video and an original fully-orchestrated soundtrack.

...Sideburns: Completed all Larry Vales games
etc...

I think it was pretty obvious from the start. My favorite was the corporate deputy vice president executive bit.  ;D

I was feeling so merry and jolly that I cooked this in my oven and baked it with a spatula:
