General Discussion / Re:Why I'm not using AGS

Well, there are 2 guys dressed as Inuyasha in pages 2 and 3 of this thread. One of the photos is a fight between Inuyasha and his demon brother Sesshomaru.

Inuyasha cosplay photos?

Anyway I think all the problem started because someone didn't get a joke about resolutions... why bother so much?

A friend of mine keeps saying AGS is not enough for him... But I've decided to try it before judging.

I'd been using a Faye avatar from the series Cowboy Beebop for a really long time until I got here and saw that 90x90 avatars are too big...

I've got it resized now and I'll upload it as soon as I can. I'll be myself again ^_^

General Discussion / Re:Does The Matrix Suck?

I agree with the opinion that the 15 minutes of flying and fighting were directly from Dragon Ball Z, I even thought Neo was going to make one of those Kame Hame attacks...

Anyway, I didn't like the film either, but joking about the film with friends is always fun. It would be funnier if it was cheaper, though.

Spoiler
Disliking the film won't keep me from making specs. In my opinion Neo is still alive, we see the energy of the machines when they recover the body so it must be Neo's view.

I'd like to help designing the puzzles, but I don't know if I'd do well. I haven't worked in an AGS game previously but I'd like to try.

I'm supposed to be developing a game at the moment, but I can't get the rest of the team to work or even brainstorm a little, so I think it's OK if I team for another game as mine seems to be dead. People who volunteer for projects they are not interested in...

I wouldn't recommend Runaway unless it was a really low price edition. I bought it with a newspaper, it was a special offer for less than 6â,¬ and I can't say I liked it. The voices were horrible, puzzles were somehow out of place (I mean they didn't quite fit the general story at all), BG graphics were nice but for some reason I didn't like the characters... I also found it boring.

In general the game is OK, but the DVDs you mentioned are far more interesting than this game.

Try using RPGMaker images as a reference.

It looks like a kid in his father's coat. You could make the coat move a bit more around the legs to avoid giving the impression that the person that's under it is not moving right or is somehow short legged.

You said the wizard chose the man to save the king from a demon, but it is the wizard who defeats the demon once you revive him. Why does the wizard need the man then?
