I was for a while. We had some nice woods all set up for it. Tall forts, fox holes, ravines, rivers, bridges.... It was the perfect set up. Then after we'd camp out, drink some beer, cook food over the fire, and sleep. :)

We use regular modern weapons, but we messed around and bought WWII replica ones, and replica moderns, made with real metals and all that so it has weight to it. I bought a Thompson with a drum clip. Holds 580 pellets hehe. My friend Ryan bought a Famas, and an MP-40. They're great fun, but hurt haha.

Requiem For A Dream is an amazing movie. It's a lot like Natural Born Killers in the way it uses weird camera shots and near-hallucinogenic imagery. It also has deeply moving themes, such as addiction, and it's conveyed really well.

Also, FSi recommended Cannibal Holocaust, which I agree, ONLY IF YOU GET THE CORRECT ONE. There are so many copies that exist now that have heavily censored the movie. It's really quite shocking seeing it without any cuts. However, it's also a great exploitation film, and kind of paved the way for the Blair Witch Project style of movies. Just ignore the fact that Robert Kerman plays in it and gets naked. :S

Other movies that I find to be pretty awesome or moving, in CATEGORY!  :=

Documentary/Mockumentary:
The King of Kong (Pretty entertaining and emotional somewhat)
The Decline of Western Civilization Part 2: The Metal Years (Exposed the disgusting L.A. Glam Metal scene)
Super Size Me (Hilarious. McDonald's is bad for you? Noooooooooo... no way man.)
Bowling For Columbine (Not a fan really of Michael Moore, but the topic is too controversial to not pay attention to)
Anvil: The Story of Anvil (Being in a band, I kinda feel their pain. Great story about true friends and trying to make it in music, even in their 50s heh.)

Action/Adventure:
Fight Club (Just watch it. It's fun.)
Hard Boiled (Just amazing. Has some crazy scenes that are filmed in one go that last a long, long time, and not one mistake)
Natural Born Killers (Amazing movie. I can't even describe it. The imagery is just wicked.)
The Warriors (Cult classic. Full of style and kick-ass-ness. Yes, I made that word up. :P)
Indiana Jones 4 Set (Can't call it a trilogy anymore. The 4th we can do without though right? ;))
From Russia With Love (Awesome Sean Connery film and the best 007 movie IMO. KLEBB!)

Horror:
The Evil Dead & Within The Woods (ED is legendary obviously. If you can find Within The Woods, it's great from what you can make out of it)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Something about the original.... the whole film gives off a really disturbing presence)
Suspiria (Only saw it once, but it gave me nightmares)
The Shining (This is an obvious one. :P)

Drama/Comedy:
All Dogs Go To Heaven (Damn dog movies... :'()
Marley and Me (DEM DOG MOOVIES MAEK ME BAWWWWWWW, but it's also pretty funny too)
The Lords of Dogtown (Heath Ledger, Emile Hirsch, plus Catherine Hardwicke directed. Lots of great extras too)
The Hangover (Too many memorable quotes, too many moments that leave you in tears from laughing so hard)

That's just a portion. Didn't want to post a giant list. Would love to hear more. :)

I believe you need a very long break. And not for games. You need a break so you can learn actual grammar and punctuation. It really is a problem, and no one is going to take you seriously unless they can understand you.

the title is staying Pub master quest but the sub title is in jap because it really doesn't take much effect on the title.I cant change the title of the 20 PMQ games that are already planed out(some will not be made with ags)

So you have a Japanese subtitle, just to have it? And 20 PMQ games planned out? Are you serious?

I agree with Chicky. Your artwork is very good, but wasted on these attempts, just because you want to become the next Square Enix and make 19024901264109874 Final Fantasy rip-off games.

I already know someone has said it, but you should focus on completing an actual story first. From playing your first PMQ game, the elements that actually make the game were non-existent. Jumbled story line that only made sense from the blurb in your thread, and forgettable characters, except the ones you obviously stole from Final Fantasy. However, the artwork was very good.

I believe you can do much better if you slow down and focus more. Stop trying to tie in with Final Fantasy and putting Square Enix in all your creations. You are NOT Square Enix. Believe me, I've had the same experience on these forums. Sometimes you can't be so ambitious.

Check this thread out. This is me in 2004. Look what happened to that project.

You will find that if you actually take your time, and start small, you'll be better off later on, and more people will be inclined to help you here. Best wishes.

But the ESRB,mog.net & icey games logo stay because the game is going to be rated by esrb all ready asked them and they said yes.

You owe me a new monitor now. I just shot milk out of my nose all over my screen after reading this.

Come on, do you really expect anyone to believe that?

Quote from: Calin Leafshade on Mon 13/09/2010 04:06:04
Hooray, can you pay the $2500 to have my game rated too?

I assume you have passed all the criteria to be considered a *publisher* by the ESRB?

This.

This is my last game with square enix, that is why my next thing is a anime for pub master.3 because It wil take place in japan the true home land to my game, but is a fictional place in japan.as for the esrb that was really just an example of 1 out of 5 examples of the final menu for pub master quest 1 remake.

As for cid he will only remain in pmq.2 and MAYBE pmq.1 but when 3 4 is made he will not be in there because there not in senpah anymore, having this mean nomore square enix :( but a new chance with new characters[I can now bring my old people back because the change in the name made me let them fade away into memory but I can only remember some of them :[ but all is not lost :]

Once again I don't think you're listening to anyone. Using other material from games without permission can get you in trouble. That's why ddq suggested you change Cid's name all together and why I and many others suggested that you use original works.
#166
Sounds dandy, but I agree with Khris. No more of this stupid ESRB stuff, and stop including SQUARE ENIX in your game. Someone said earlier that you'll end up with a cease and desist letter eventually from them.

Also, since Calin is helping you, maybe you can have original backgrounds and characters? I saw the name Cid in your game and I sort of know Final Fantasy games, but I think it's better to just ditch all the relation and just come up with something original.

Just played it. Great game. :)

Not too hard, but challenging as well. I especially liked the dialog options and the conversations. The animations were great as well.

The story is pretty good, although as someone said, you could see the ending coming...

Still, great game.  :=

I really have no critique to give. That sprite is just fine IMO after all the touch ups. Good job  :=

It could be your lack of grammar. But hell, what do I know.

When I first joined here, I made an ass of myself. That was mainly due to my age (I was 9 at the time I believe) so the only thing I can say is be mature and actually use punctuation and grammar.

I've only played Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2, and I love them both haha. I haven't played 3 yet, but it looks cool being able to ride your own coasters and all the modding I've seen from youtube videos looks interesting.

Has anyone played Tropico?

Very excellent! I've been looking for something like this for my iPod for the longest time. Looks challenging too which is always a plus.

I liked Final Fantasy II. Does I win?  :=

Ratt, Skid Row, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Poison, WASP, Odin, London, Old Pantera was glam, Faster Pussycat, and some others I'm forgetting...

I'm not into glam metal myself. I just know these bands from extended research. I'm more of a thrash metal guy myself.

Splitscreen is what I miss in alot of  modern games these days. Most are either singleplay or only have online mp, which is quite a shame. Games like GRID would be so much more fun with splitscreen play, but for some reason they haven't included it.

I agree. You can't match the feeling of just being in the same room with friends, playing a game and having fun. A mic just isn't the same. The overall spirit isn't there.

I remember playing Goldeneye on N64 almost every day with my uncle Jeremy, my brother, some of my cousins, and some of my uncle's friends. We'd have almost 10-12 people in his room waiting to play, switching controllers around every match. You just can't achieve the same feeling with a headset.
