Hey I like this game! I'm liking the amount of interaction so far; being able to crash the car, get pulled over by cops, examine pretty much anything... it's very nice.

And, if you get caught, you'll have some nice zeros on the most important exams.

Heh, you think 9th grade exams are bad? Wait until 10th grade, where you have to remember everything you learned last year, PLUS the stuff you have to learn in 10th grade. 11th grade is the worst though.

The first was heavily underrated. Hopefully this will instill a bigger fan base, and come out just as good as the first.

You've got to understand that a lot of games are old, and authors stop supporting them, or services stop hosting.

No, it's Henry Jones III. Indy is Henry Jones II. AKA. Henry Jones Jr. Or just "Junior" to his pops.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Connery.

Um,  Henry Williams II?    Henry Williams III?

Spoiler

Did they cover the name change and I missed it? All I saw was a hat.

Its not like kids magically adopt the groom's name at weddings.   They usually keep what they grew up with.

Spoiler
When Indy and Ravenholm are in the quicksand while Ox and Williams are getting something to get them out, she tells Indy that it's his son.

It was also a comical moment.  :=

I don't understand why no one knows Indy's son's name. It's Henry Jones II! :P

Just saw it. I loved it! It was just as good as the older movies! Harrison Ford still makes a great Indy, and the movie was very fun.

I loved Mack and Indy. They were funny in the most hectic parts, like:

Spoiler
When Indy is kicking everyone's ass in the jeep in the jungle, and Mack greets him with a "JONESY!" and Indy replies, "Hi Mack!" then punches his face off lol.

I thought the story was really good too. CG was a little annoying, but it was used well IMO, and it didn't make me want to leave the theatre or anything.

I would pay to see it again.  ;D

I was only maybe 7 or 8, playing Silent Hill on PSX, and I was already creeped out by the game, but the part where the corpse falls out of the locker... I stopped playing Silent Hill for so long and was only able to finish it when i got it again last year, when I was 16.

16! That's a lot of years! That's how badly that game scarred me. Scarred for life man.

Plus, the Resident Evil games got to me. I used to play them, but when it got dark, I never played it until the morning. :D

The 1st Fatal Frame game on Xbox scared me a lot. The premise made it perfect. You basically take pictures of ghosts, but because it's made by a Japanese company, it's more a surreal horror, like The Ring style for instance.

Hmm... what other games? Half-Life spooked me a bit, because it was really intense for me at the time. The things in Resident Evil 4, I think they're called regenerators, idk, but they make this noise that scares the piss out of me.

Any game that is as disturbing as the Silent Hill games, will most definitely make me jump. I think "disturbing" is much worse than "scary" lol.

Also, quoting an entire post just to add a single line in response is baaad. One of the big boys will come along and make you sit in the corner...

I just noticed that. Sorry folks!

Is this thread an attempt to improve your position in the very chart you've observed so closely?

Hehe, now that is a witty exchange...

And what the hell is with this male to female ratio? 6:1? Sounds like a bukkake lover's dream!

What, you honestly thought different? I would've imagined there'd be more like a 10:1 ratio... obviously we've got some pretenders around, too...

And while we're at it, we're missing a number of stock-personalities:

The preachy uber-Christian who goes on evangelical rants
The 13-year-old emo kid who wont stop posting poetry
The sarcastic 'noob-eater' that everyone respects
The drama queen who finds a way to take offense at everything
The uber-Nazi moderator who monitors the forum religiously
The hot chick who's always getting hit on
That guy who's obsessed with pirates or ninjas
and the loser-hippy who always gets screwed

There's also:
The self-aggrandising narcissist who views the world as his playground
The wise-cracking smart-ass who gets on everyone's nerves
The know-it-all who argues about anything, even if he doesn't know anything about it

But those are already covered (by me :P)

Let me introduce you to the Frets on Fire forums. We have ALL of those. O_o.

My thoughts exactly...

Nice game so far!

The things I see wrong IMO are the speeds of characters. The main characters walk really slow, but the enemies walk way too fast. It's hard to shoot at them sometimes.

That, and sometimes I have no idea where I'm going or what to do. Is there a map by any chance?

Anyway, I'll continue playing. The music and sound is very nice, and the speech is excellent.

Of Mice and Men is a good watch. A Time to Kill is an excellent movie.

Resident Evil 1 for PSX. It's cheesy, but it's cool. :)

Final Fantasy VII Had a great intro too. The music is great.

Haha, Cloud Strife huh?

I think he needs his buster sword. Also, his facial features need to be brought out more. I can barely see his nose and mouth.

Anyway, nice sprite!

Breakdown for the Xbox. Just find a video on youtube. :)

I think it's pretty awesome that people from different areas can meet in real life and be friends. :)

I guess I don't have a "buddy,"which is mostly due to me not being as active on here as I used to be. Plus, I was an idiot when I first joined, so that doesn't help either. :)

Eh, still, there's some people on here who are just regularly awesome like m0ds lol.
#299
Just a suggestion. I apologize if you've mentioned this somewhere.

Are you adding hotkeys as well? Or is it all point and click?

Also, the new color scheme for selecting units looks nice, and the addition of a trooper unit is nice as well. :)

Keep it up dkh.  ;)

Looks great! Screenshots look wonderful, but you haven't told much of the story, which I'm eagerly waiting for. ;)
