Awesome! Looks pretty good man. How about using Ace of Spades for a title? Or is that too cliche?
#462
Why not use Nestopia? It runs awesome, has many many features, and has a kaillera online client. I'll even play if you get it!  :)

You need to read the stickys first, then search for RPGs on here. I coded one myself, and it isn't too hard.

Here I am:

Heh, this is old news!  ;)

From what reviews I read, they said that the games are packaged poorly, and some even say that they don't even include all the disks!

So you need beta testers? Why don't you just post in the GiP with a "Need BETA testers" thread.

You mean platformers? Yes, you can. Search the forums. It's been answered before.

No the raw draw functions draw everything onto the background.

Speaking of arrays, if you plan to have it like Rollercoaster Tycoon, how would you adjust land?
#469
-Look up arrays in the manual, and search the forums for 2d arrays.
-For the functions you can use raw draw functions.
-Displaying in-game date is easy. :)
-Not sure about the rides though, or the tech tree.
-I think the char limit is what, 300? Thats way too low for a sim like this.

If you think you can do it, I say try it. :)

Wow, the style is similar to Another World. I agree with Layabout, the room needs some minor details like that.

WOW! I've been playing this for an hour and a half now, and I must say that this game is so polished and so fun to play! I love your style and I hope to see more of it if you make more games.

General Discussion / Re: TMNT

I loved the first one, even if it was very hard. It was fun to me then, and it still is fun to me. I loved the second one as well, even if it was EXTREMELY hard too.

mmm, Battletoads! I loved that game (remember the exaggerated fists and boots? :))

It was really hard! I don't recall getting past the 3rd level (the one with the hover cars! OMG! IMPOSSIBLE!!!)

Konami's SNES TMNT games, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters, were the best TMNT games of the 16-bit era.

Not surprisingly, as Konami was probably the best third-party developer working on the SNES.

Of course, as good as the SNES TMNT games were, Konami's AAA SNES output (Cybernator, Legend of The Mystical Ninja, Castlevania IV, Contra III, etc) was even better.

But I digress...

Hmm, idk about Cybernator, but Contra III was very awesome for its time. Castlevania IV was really great too.

Is it possible?  ???

That might be because the module doesn't have that scripted in.

Search for a Keyboard Movement module. It takes no scripting, you just have to load the module. Although it will mess with Bernie's code a bit.
