Well, too be fair, ScummVM have said they would definitely consider supporting AGS games if the file format was made open source.

I think that this point in the process is a little late to have arguments over what categories should be in there. The problem with best newcomer is the definition of newcomer: forum registration date? number of completed games released? number of "proper" games released?

Northern Chinese consider the whole cat-eating thing as "a southern problem". Quite possibly Southerners would say "Oh, that just happens in Sichuan" (or wherever, I only choose that as the only southern province that I can recall). In any case, its not exactly a culture thing, probably more an "avoiding starvation" thing.

I forget, exactly, however this says there were 110 people submitted nominations a few days before voting closed in the awards for 2008, and before that it was write-in rather than the current form, and there were far fewer. There's a retrospective of the awards for 2007 here.

I know you guys didn't want to pressure me, which is why none of you sent me messages demanding a new Princess Marian game.
