You could probably fit 5 tents on my lawn plus we have a garage and summerhouse... but I'd have to ask the wife if she wants 20-odd geeks traipsing round the garden.

I like the idea of this, but this should be optional.. I don't want to have to give out my address to people.

That must be a huge worry for you. Of course, if you do win, we'll send the boys around to torture you until you tell us your address...

Pfff, if I'm still running the AGS Awards next year then I will personally send the winner of best game a blue cup, with postage and cup paid for by myself...

by the way, games made from anyone who lives somewhere expensive to post to is now excluded from entering the AGS Awards.... ;)

I meant demos for the demo award, obviously...

Just RawDraw the appropriate sprite on to each background frame
#2506
Well, maybe Cuppit as best NPC ;)

I didn't want to include tools, since obviosuly my walkcycle generator is the best ;)

I'm still confused as to what this request is for, as I don't use Text Window GUIs myself much. Are you saying that the Transparency GUI property doesn't work for that type of GUI currently?

Well, here's a quick list of the games of 2006 that have stood out so far, and could be contenders for the next AGS Awards. Apologies if I missed yours out: it's probably more likely down to forgetting than anything else...

1213 parts 2&3
Al Emmo demo
Automation (yes, I know its old, but it counts for the 2006 awards)
Ben Jordan 5
Bog's adventures in the underworld
Crown of Solomon demo
Fountain of Youth demo
Kings Quest III VGA
Life of D Duck
Lost in the Nightmare 2 demo
Robotragedy 2
Spooks
The Family Treasure
The Heist
The Oracle
The Shivah
Trilby's notes

and a special mention for 2010: World of Chaos... so bad it's good!

Any thoughts, people?

Not to diss them, but "El Corte Ingles" is more like John Lewis than Harrods....

CJ's said many times that the Interaction Editor stuff is really only there to get peopel started and he doesn't have many plans for improving it. Why not learn how to use variables in the script, as they are MUCH easier in the long run and easier to keep track of, if you give them sensible names.

It depends on your keyboard, so there's isn't one corrent answer. On this keyboard, it is shift-\, just above the Windows key and beside shift.

Why not save out GUE files (Export single GUI menu options) so people don't ahve to follow instructions to recreate them?

Also, what version of AGS is required?

Sex helps you sleep... for example, ever since I had kids I've been so darn knackered all the time that despite drinking gallons of coffee a day I still fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow and sleep dreamlessly until the kids wake up...

Maybe it would just translate as saltar? Anyway, he shouldn't go up and down so much.

At last, an Inky-drawn game! Excuse me while I explode with delight.

I think that on front/back walkcycles, the "bob" should be less noticable. Also, the south one's shading looks like his jacket has a big horizontal stripe across the shoudlers.

When I made my walkcycle generator, I turned off the bob completely on the front walkcycle.
