b) Someone locks the defunct Coding contest that hasn't been posted in since 26th May...

With IETab, it automatically opens windows update in the IE rendering engine and yet still in a FF tab... you can also add other sites that use IE instead automatically.

The problem is not the spyware scan program but IE ... remove that "Genuine Advantage" spyware NOW! Go for Opera or Firefox. I just discovered the IETab extension that mean you never need leave firefox again! Also, I worked out how to make it emulate Opera's "g something" quick adderss bar google search...

Well, I had a go at this with the YesNo module inside my savegames with screenshots and it wasn't great: but now I've done it right and here is DialogBox. Ideal for those Yes/No , OK/Cancel confirmation questions, including Do you really want to quit?, Do you want to overwrite this saved game? and Did you really want to walk into that river, Graham?

Download DialogBox here: includes module and single importable GUI, instructions in module header as usual and does really this time only require AGS 2.71 or above

I want to have the cursor as a pointer during some wait statements, but of cours eit turns to busy. However, if I change the graphic, the hotspot is in the wrong place... would it be possible to get the current hotspot coordinates of a cursor so I can save them and restore them afterwards? It seems like another one of these things you can set but nor read...

That'll be interesting to see what happens in the module manager when you have 11 extensions, as 10 fills the box right up. I wonder if CJ made a scrollbar?

I suspect that your GUI was merery obscuring the glitch. All that stuff should be in before fadein (view setting and gui enable/disable).

I would guess that the problem is somewhere else than you have mentioned. Can you upload the game data so someone else can load it into the editor?

Are you sure that the delay is happening within the cutscene? Put a Display right after your endcutscene...

Also, AGS can't display foreign characters, apart from within translation files, I believe...

I think there was a parallax scrolling plugin once, but I doubt that it works on the latest AGS...

Assuming you're not in 256-colour mode, you could have that part of the background all magenta (R255, G0, B255) and then grab the section of screen as a Dynamic sprite, then put and overlay on top of the static background and another overlay on top of that that is the sprite you captured earlier (this ensures that anything on top of the background is still visible)...
