The fact that it was summer might be contributing factor to the traffic. More of us were free to use AGS, than during the school year.

April/May is summer? Anyway, half of the traffic here is from the southern hemisphere!

Looking at the games that came out, KQ2, I believe could be a big factor, in drawing people towards our site.
To quote Tierra's FAQ, The King's Quest II+ VGA remake was released on December 3rd, 2002....

Insurance tip: use a digital camera to take photos of important things that you want to prove to the insurance company that you had. Store photos outside house (ie. on work womputer, or website (hidden) or both, on CD given to friend, etc.)

Another tip: thieves quite often come back a do a place again once the insurance company has replaced all your old stuff with shiny new stuff, so do that trap

In the UK, the poilce now say that they won't even investiate a burglar alarm going off unless it is a monitored one (ie you pay a subscription to a monitoring company...!)

However, if you're going to investigate yourself as some have suggested, there is one question: if was there any broken glass, which side of the window was it?????

Well part of a reviews is personnal taste, we have to live with it.  We also have to point out that reviews that we're used to on the AGS site are sometimes more positive than normal. I've only downloaded games here that were rated 8/10 and up, and to my opinion, some of them don't deserve that high.

I don't know what you can mean?

(no doubt the 10/10 mark will change soon  :'( )

Wrong islands... it was the Faeroe Islands: Shetland is PART of Scotland (disagreement from some Scandinavian AGSers here, maybe  ;D )

We were 2-0 down to them at one point and got back to 2-2 in the end.

We were the only team not to lose a match in the 1974 World Cup Finals

You can do it with a transparent character (of the shadow) and the following in your repeatedly_execute:

player[SHADOW].x=player[EGO].x + x_offset
player[SHADOW].y=player[EGO].y + y_offset

or something like that...

That's what RawSaveScreen and RawRestoreScreen are for!

So:

Save screen
Draw the laser
Start a timer

rep_ex:

timerexpired => restorescreen

Nacho, another positive thing is taht we didn't draw Spain: same chance of losing, but much greater chance of domestic disharmony!

Obviously the bit where they say "One of the things that I absolutely loved was the full MIDI soundtrack by Mark Lovegrove." is the the bit where most people would disagree the most...
 ;)

j/k!

Tranquila, La Lore: la mas guapa del mundo (mi esposa) tiene lo mismo error, y tu ingles es mas bien de mi castellano, por seguro.

First pic is best for me, too, by the way.

I Spy an opportunity for a Recess. Let's hope there's no Flashbax to The Strange Day that lead to this thread. If that is The Case then this Crime Time should end. The broken brain that started this should apologise to all and should be put in front of The shooting gallery or locke d in The haunted house. They better not come around my 'hood. If this carries on, The next curse will be from me.

Hope that wasn't too Abstract...

Is it supposed to be a nightdress? Check out http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=nightdress.

I think you mean maybe ballgown or party dress ...

As for the cheerleading team: an easy change is to make them taller or shorter or to introduce some ethnic diversity (.ie replace skin colour)

It's funny how groups of three girls always seem to have one redhead, one blond and one brunette: Powerpuffs, Charlie's Angels, etc.

I would have thought that you would be able to see some grass through the bus windows... it kinda looks like the building is on the edge of a cliff...

And a for loop, come to that

Probably using the Raw drawing functions is the best way to do it. Look them up in the manual...

Oh, and how do you leave the Boss screen? Nothing I have tried works...

In places you can get stuck behind a walkbehind (in the casino at the show enterance haeding back to mirror balcony, for example): not good :(

What I mean is, when clicking to go to next room, if you click on pixel 2 or 3 on the black column on the left, Larry goes entirely behind the column and cannot be seen: some might think the game has hung: it's kinda an extension of the exits problem.

There's something wierd happens to Larry's sprite as he enters Fat City, too

I have no idea about this one, can you describe what happens, I've tried it 100's of times and never seen anything wierd, as far as I can see, he walks in and is facing straight ahead.

Anyone else noticed anything wierd?

It was a brief sprite sizing thing

Tawni says "is it a ahopping mall"

Also, having to walk around the other side of Tawni is a bit of not-good-gameplay

I assume that the quiz is not supposed to happen at the start...

You couldn't crop that pic just a teeeeeensiest bit, could you? 967x1547 is just a wee bit big when the pic only takes up a fraction of that!

I'm OK cause I've got a big fat pipe, but others might be on dial-up!
