Hello all,

I've been thinking of buying one of these programs, and I was wondering what the preference might be of anyone here who's looked into clickteam stuff. I've looked at the comparison chart on clickteam's website, but it's hard to see what features are or aren't worth while just from that.

A newer version of Quest for Yeti is now available to download on it's game page, with a few things fixed, and a complete walkthrough added in the zip folder.  :D

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone.

For those that are stuck, or have found bugs, I appreciate the feedback, and I've uploaded a new and improved v2.0 for download on the same game page linked to above. Bugs are fixed, Polish was added, and a COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH (!!!) was included in the zip folder.

Spoiler
Use the eye icon to look at the map in the cave and follow those directions. It's put in your inventory as a marker- it has no in-game use.

Hello, hopefully this helps.

Spoiler
The map gives you directions of where to go room-to-room from that point inside the cave.

Hi everyone, Quest for Yeti is my fault  ;D and I'll be glad to help with anyone who's stuck. I've got no walk-through yet, though I may make one soon.

Once you get in the cave and find the map, look at it to read it's message and compair that to the compus's message, which you can read again by clicking the compus on to the map.

From there, the map tells you what to do from the point you are standing, not from outside the cave.

Remember that the point of the game is to find the Yeti. Anything else that may happen to your tragic main character is of no consequence to you, the player, while winning the game.

(It's a really simple game, so I just sent it back to the title screen once you win.)

I hope these clues help! Thanks for playing my game.  :)

AGS Games in Production / Quest for Yeti
Sun 23/12/2007 07:46:09
Hello all! I'm new here, and I've only been tinkering in AGS for about a week now, but it's been really fun.

UPDATE: The game is now ready for download. See it's Announcement thread here:
http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=33290.0

My first game is pretty simple, it's called Quest for Yeti, and stars the intrepid explorer Sir Thadeous Franzibold Cromwell III. It's almost complete save for a little polish work here and there. I never wanted this one to be complex in the least, so it's a short, simple game in the vein of Peasant Quest from Homestarrunner.com.
