Looks pretty interesting. Not played the earlier games in the series, but it looks like I should, so I'll go investigate!

Somebody has link to this game? ???
It's been over seven years. The original poster has an email address in their profile, so email them and ask them about it.

Whoops, by "GlobalSettings.asc" I meant "General Settings".

So yes, I did try that, but the font is still jagged.  :'(
I always had issue with the colour depth - for me, 32-bit colour is the only one that appears to do anti-aliasing satisfactorily. So it might be worth checking that?

This isn't a technical question, but I've been getting false positives from AVG 2011 (10) with AGS-created stuff. Anyone else been getting this? I'll note the prior version of AVG didn't cause this.

Quite like the way this one looks! Hope this doesn't cause you too much grief to complete.

Source code link is 403ing here, Tzachs.

Also, this might be a little strange, but I enjoy compiling the OSD games from source...

Great I can use the battle theme. Can you post it when you get the chance.
Wait for Tzachs to release the source, I'd imagine...

Ah, case sensitivity strikes again (was using GUI instead, doh). Cheers, Calin!

I'm wondering if there's an easy way of iterating through GUIs and setting them all to be not visible (otherwise I can theoretically have save and load dialogues be enabled at the same time, for example).

Should be in (at least one of) the source code files for the various OSD games that've been made, surely?

Check the font's outline style. Depending on what it's set to, it might be trying to use another font as an outline.

By the way, screenshots means pictures of the game being played.

You should also update http://www.wolfmage.com/project1.html too, no?

Where does it say it's 3.2 only?

I'm astonished that he's almost at $20k already.  I had no idea traditional interactive fiction still had any sort of following.

Kickstarter does seem to be an excellent way of reaching out to your audience in order to raise funds.
I'd imagine David Cornelson of TextFyre must be spitting nails.

You can get AGS to do (at least some of) that automatically. "When player interface is disabled, GUIs should" on the general settings tab can be set to "Hide all their controls".

I dunno, would something like:

Code: ags
if (condition(s) here)
{
 return;
}

at the top of your code work? That way, any clicks on the object just get ignored. And, to be honest, I'd rather give some feedback to the player that the item'll do nothing.

Out of curiosity, have you taken a look at this? http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=41465.0

Dave Gilbert once said (don't make me link, cause I have it bookmarked) he's going off AGS. Well f*** him.

Um, could you elaborate?  I'm in the midst of making three games with it, so I don't see where this is coming from.
Looking at the rest of the post in question, and subsequent posts, I think you've missed the humour.
