Do you have the source code for the demo?

Sskaxx: Nope this isn't going to be a commercial game, its just for fun.. Even though I have spent a bit of money on it, over $2000 now.  But its a hobby.. lol
Really? Rather you than me then... seriously, I'd attempt to recoup that money.

Screenshots have been removed/deleted.
#644
Stupid question here, this is going to be a commercial game then?
#645
Fair enough. So 3.2 isn't going to remove these yet, then?
#646
Pretty much as the subject line says, really. What does it mean when code is contained with these lines, and is there any documentation on them and their effects?

Thanks.

That's the intended behavior. The top of the file selection windows says "Export background as...".
It isn't possible to export walkable areas and I'm curious why you'd want to?

What you can do is set player.Solid to false, run the game, press Ctrl-A and take a screenshot using the keyboard's print button. Open a graphics program and Ctrl-V the screenshot, crop it (,resize it), and voilá.
And I've just realised that. Thanks!

Not sure if this has been beaten to death or not, but the thought of being able to draw walkable regions using an external paint package sounds like it'd be appealing because of the ability to be more precise.

First of all, of course, is how exporting walkable areas work - my understanding is that it should just show the walkable areas and nothing else. Is this correct?

Regardless, when using 3.2 RC3 and telling to export a room's walkable area(s), it just exports the background image - no sign of any walkable areas. Is this correct? Is it a known bug?

Ummm... untie? I think a spell checker would help you.

There's also http://www.renpy.org/wiki/renpy/Home_Page Ren'Py, if you know some Python.

As for AGDI...we obtained reluctant permission from Activision to continue for the time being around the time VU Games and Activision were still in the process of merging and by that time all our projects were already released in some form, so as long as TSL fans don't go out of their way to drag AGDI into it by writing letters to Activision saying stuff like "Why are you letting AGDI off the hook and not TSL?", I think we'll be fine, though I'd be lying if I said this whole thing doesn't create a slight sense of anxiety with me.

Hopefully what's happened with TSL won't impact upon AGDI. That said, I do hope you're putting plans in place if they do.

Goscinny's family being nasty to Udzero probably didn't help matters much, though...

It's done by [ h i d e ] your text [ / h i d e ] (without the spaces)

Spoiler
Cool effect with the acronym, though

Acronym would be more effective for hiding spoilers, I think. I might use that, myself.

Looking interesting to me, JN! Cheers.

I noticed someone talking about per-track looping options, but could we please have this extended to (at least) per-room as well, if you do decide to implement something along these lines?
#658
I'm not sure if I fully grasp what the bug is about, but if you could eliminate the player character moving, but keep the background scrolling, the "speech text flows away with the scrolling background" might be an interesting effect to have?

I'd second the Inform suggestion, myself, with the qualifier of it being Inform 7. Using the Glulx format with it will produce platform-independent Interactive Fiction with some powerful graphic options, albeit you may have to code up the stuff to get it to be powerful yourself - it does support the basics though and there are some extensions available for Inform that give more power to multimedia options.

Revolution went bust a few years back. The owner's keeping the website up, and essentially is a one-man band.
