This place is about LOVE, man.
Cut it with the hippie jabber, Alliance. The 60s were like sooooo last century.  ::)  (some one's been listening to a little too much Beatles)  ;D

I actually don't even remember any thread by you

See, that's the problem. You, like many others, (in the past, at least) have probably just ignored any threads I started. I don't mind Renal Shutdown much. I was reading the old 8 Page 'Boner' thread (the Bone: Out From Boneville thread  that got way off topic), and Renal had the same attitude now as (h/sh)e did back then. I actually had a pretty good game
in progress at one point (which I quit making because of a hard drive erm.. malfunction). I recently found some of the old character art that lo_res_man had did laying around my hard drive (I didn't post any of that in the GiP thread before the hard drive crash). I'll probably update the thread when I get around to it.

I was pretty much laughin at every nick you chose to parodise and if you remember I would like you to parodise mine (there was a post about it). I'm not sure if Vince was exactly angry, but the pic I saw with the nacked man was pretty growse to be honest... Other than that no problem...
Oh, sorry. If I had known I would have parodied it. I'll parody you as soon as possible, which is probably once I'm done posting this... From now on, I think I'll only parody by request (via PM), so as not to get anyone upset. That was pretty immature of Vince to change the pic, and I too was grossed out by it. Maybe that was some of Vince's gay porn. :=
Ya know, maybe I'll just start parodying people at random again...

Nobody hates anybody here. And you opened a thread/discussion about the vintage demon (now known as azure wolf). I have him on MSN (though he's usually off line nowadays). He was pretty annoying but stoped posting. That was good. dont' you agree?

You kind of contradicted yourself there. First: 'Nobody hates anybody else here'. Then: 'It was good that TheVintageDemon stopped posting.' I know that you aren't specifically saying you hate TVD, but you're implying that you do. I'm neither happy or sad that he stopped posting. His posting habits were a quirky addition to the forum.

Check out I avatar, mon! ;)

It probably is easier to write yodaman than steel drummer.
Then call me Steel, Drum, Drummer, Steelio, Steel Beast, Snare Drum- whatever, I don't care, I just don't want to be called Yodaman any more, mon.

I don't give a %^*@$ what the mods think of me. And I don't know what the forums were like back in the EZBoards era, but Raggit and I were chatting a while ago, and he said that everything was a lot more laid back.

For example, when I went through that period of parodying users/usernames, I didn't mean any harm by it, I thought it would be a little bit of fun. Quite a few people got upset by it (*cough* Vince *agghhh* Twelve *gaggg*), and someone even PMed me over it (negatively).

Take another example: VintageDemon/AzureWolf. Most users hated him (I didn't particularly like him, either), but he was just trying to fit in around here like a regular member. Sure, he used to post about 20 times a day, but who cares? (I'm sorry, AzureWolf, for posting that nasty thread about you, but I was in a moment of stupidity when I posted that, and I apologize)

And once again, back to me. About 1-2 years ago I said I didn't like gay people, and the whole forum got in an uproar. That thread I posted about a game turned into a lengthy discussion about homophobia, sexuality, and similar topics. Most of you probably still hate me. When I posted that comment about gays on a site's guestbook, I wasn't really thinking about the implications it would have. It's not gays I hate, it's their lifestyle I hate. I think gays are sometimes viewed as outsiders to the human race. Despite my hatred of their sexuality, I still think they should be treated as others are treated- equally. However- this is where the real controversy lies- I do NOT think that they should receive special funding in America from companies like Ford, Wal-Mart, etc. That is definitely NOT equality. It would be the same as sponsoring people who aren't gay.

Sorry for getting this off-topic. I'm finally getting an opportunity to vent how I feel and I've seized the chance.

Again, It's a good thing I'm not in charge, Yodaman.

I may as well say now, that I'm sick of people referring to me as Yodaman. I could, I'd change that name from appearing in my profile when users click on it (like VintageDemon did. How did you, by the way, if you're reading this). As Vader said: "That name no longer has any meaning for me."

EDIT:

Zooty, need you constantly resort to sarcasm, downright meanness, and derogatory comments in all of your posts? No wait, don't answer that. I already know what you're going to say.

Yeah, I know.  :D

Upload2.net is a good site to upload, and it's very reliable. You could also try the americangirlscout upload server (which, I dont think works anymore).

This was the crappiest April Fool's joke ever. As soon as I read the thread title I groaned.

..And yet you still continued to tried to spoil it for others.  Shameful.

There we go again, picking on the short, green, pointy-eared one.

No, the hood comment meant that the hair looked like a hood. You know what a hood is, don't you? Like on a jacket? :P

Battletoads was good. I think I got up to the last level. Whenever my friend and I played it on multiplayer, he could never get past level 3. :D

The second TMNT game was a lot more fun, especially on rainy days, with nothing else to do.

Didn't Dualnames already post in General Discussion about this? He doesn't even update it, and it's more like a blog. :P

And the first game had wave after wave of foot soldiers, and a bunch of other annoying enemies. If I recall, the first wasn't even two player.

Which one do you think I'm talking about?

I mean TMNT 2: The Arcade Game for NES. The original TMNT game on NES wasn't that great, but this was one of the best games ever. It was way ahead of anything else they ever did on the original Nintendo console. I did find, however, that holding my thumb horizontally just made things a bit more difficult. And the worst part of the game was that you could only continue mid-level if you had a second player with you.

Yes, I knew you were talking about that one. Me and my friends used to play that for hours. Another game for the NES I remember fondly was BattleToads. Anyone else played that?

The SNES Turtles games were pretty cool too, but the NES ones were the best.

I think he's serious. I was browsing around the Sony website and saw an article that referenced this.
#316
I think you should have the game be donateware. With all the games going commercial, it sounds like a good idea. Glad to know this is going to be a fantasy game, and the shape shifting element sounds intriguing.

So you're saying that the Insult Swordfighting in Monkey Island wasn't the shizznits?

Okay... so since we're back on topic again, I might as well say that I just got home from seeing the movie with a friend. It was a lot better than any other media production of the Turtles, and definitely one of the best CG movies I've seen. Thumbs up to Imagi Studios (or whatever the name of the animation studio was that made the film). This movie is edgier, grittier, and darker than any TMNT stuff before (not like this is very gritty at all), and the style actually works. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the cartoonish characters set against the backdrop of super-realistic imagery didn't really match up well. If only they'd make TMNT games as good as the NES ones. Ahh.. those were the days...

Download SCUMMVM. That's the only solution I can think of, since I don't own XP. ;)

(I can't speak for those of you I've got doing "odd jobs" for me, but that's the date on my contract, so please everyone push for then!)

Do those people get a free copy of the game?
