Yepp - that's it!
preview works, but not to sent it - the next problem is, that most of my posts changed to something like this - one part was the reason for to send it:

.. and I am getting countless general database errors since the morning of 29th , when trying to post in the forum or try to sent a PM.
Strangely one post in an other thread could be done by me (but only once and without any chance to modify that post or do an other one in any thread). But I am still able to receive PM's  ???

Just wanted to report that here to be known
...  if I succeed with one of my countless attempts to send this.
(and there might be some others with the same prob)

-----
Also sending a very big thanks to Frodo, who cared about me and tried to help getting me out of my loneliness

But the toggle bar is only about the design

I showed both versions earlier
http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=45853.msg616086#msg616086

and some don't have the needed links to be shown

Same here.
Clicking on 'profile', as well as hovering over 'profile' and clicking on both 'summary' and 'account settings' all leads me to the same page.  I'm sure one of them is supposed to give me a view of my profile page.

http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?action=profile;area=summary and http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?action=profile;area=summary&userid=6554 both work for me (first link is own profile, second is whichever user's).  However, I'm not a normal user, and nor is DarthMandarb, so it's probably worth knowing if this is affecting multiple normal users?

What we mean is that there is no way for us to see our OWN profile as others would see it.  No matter where we click, we can only see the page that lets us edit our profile information, but not our actual profile page.    Both of your links quoted above go to my 'account settings' page even though one of them contains my user number.

Well I can see my own profile, but I have the Profile Info, that I was talking about/showing and that is needed for all normal users. It is missing in AGA's example version and Hudders don't have it, too.

You should check, if you are also missing it, then we know the reason.

I'm using the AGS compact theme.  It's more the content of the pages I care about.

I have a profile info to be seen in my forums profile and I think, that's how it should look like:
http://s7.directupload.net/images/user/120428/ckx6llnj.png

edit:
this version is more obvious
http://s14.directupload.net/images/user/120428/p8jjsolp.png

so as a normal user AGA's example and hudders are missing the Profile Info and the Aktivity

Sorry, but I really don't understand what you mean...

Like Hudders said.

In your example and in Hudders version is something missing
but I tried it again make it more obvious: http://s14.directupload.net/images/user/120428/qnlzbh6l.png

It means that the content of the pages are different (Hudders and mine should have the same) and I think it should be like mine :sealed:

Sorry for my bad explanation but without knowing the special terms and bad English it is a bit complicated. Hope it is understandable now?

I noticed that Qr quest and Tifa's ballad won't add themselves to my games list.
8-0  They really didn't?!  8-0

So you forgot to implement the newest "super-duper_does-all-by-itself-module" for sure
or didn't pay the "ferryman" ... ;)

Sorry, but I couldn't withstand!

Why is there such a strict ban on bumping threads in the recruitment section ?
If somebody has new positions to fill, how are we supposed to know if the thread doesn't get bumped ?
If I look at a thread once and don't see anything I want/can do, why would I look again later ? But later there could be something interesting for me.

Judging by the number of threads and the frequency of their updates, I don't see why bumping for legitimate reasons should be so taboo.

I'd like to suggest that the owner of a thread should be allowed to bump it in general (in all boards).

Well, not just for the fun of it, of course - but sometimes it makes sense to doubble post or dig up an old thread to report something new (also thinking about the GIP thread and completed games thread)

I would prefer these links to work like “normal”.
I can't choose by myself to open them in a new window/register (via rightclick). It always changes the actual window I am in  :(
Hm, strange. I can right-click them (on Firefox 12) without any problems.

Using IE it works for me with all the other links in the forum/threads, but not from the navibar above (Home, Help, Search, Profile ...).

Edit:
I'd like to have a link to the MAGS site and the AGS Archives in there, too.

I added an 'AGS Community' navbar item.  It currently has the main page, games page and wiki.  Is there anything else people would like to be included?

I find I have troubles with the sticky threads at the top. They look more like regular threads and I find I'm constantly reading them. Especially the beginners' technical thread.

How about changing the fonts color of the sticky threads to make them more obvious (only for the headlines to be seen at the shown page)?

We have some really diligent members doing a real good job! Such a lot of new things are to be explored!
Also repairs and changings have been done already after the new forum went online. Very impressing!

Thank you for spending such a lot of time in this to make it cosy and comfortable!

... But mostly I miss all the little Rogers.  :-\

So do I      - I cant help it
I simply love the facial expressions of Roger

But I am also eager for using the lovely small big blue cups soon and all the other things that are still in progress and to be implemented or installed ...

Hiding the “prob” is more bad in my opinion because if you don't know about it you don't even realize, that there is something wrong  :P
