Your mirror is SLOOOOW. Usually, I can get 2-4 MB a second for downloads, because of my awesome fiber-optic internet. Looks good, though, so I'm willing to wait.

I think the reason Trilby wasn't chosen as the new servant was because Trilby must've pissed off Czho a whole lot. Besides, he needs copies of Trilbies in order to survive. Don't you think something messed up might happen if there was an evil Trilby and many good ones?

Actually, I really do think the "time paradox world explody" thing is much more simpler, so I'll go with that. ;D

No, I would not play it. The genre you are referring to is Space Sim, not adventure game. If you're looking for an audience, you probably won't find it here.

If you like any of Yahtzee's horror games (specifically 5DAS, 6DAS, and 7DAS), you might enjoy The Shining. Even though I'm pretty sure most people have seen it by now, it's great. Also, look for the TV miniseries, which is actually pretty good!

I actually remember reading this article a long time ago. Sometime around 2004. How did it take this long for it to reach the AGS forums?

Hey, I've always wondered, how come all of the sites that feature FTP uploads use americangirlscouts.org?

Thanks! All in all, a good experience. I might download the full thing when it's released.

I'm still stuck:

Spoiler
What do you do after you get your roomcard, hatrack, and try the button to your room?

I liked your little teaser game, but I felt that I was a machine instead of the person, the way the GUI was made. I think it would be good to keep that idea of two different actions to do everything, but make it look a little more like you're an actual person. That's what drew me into games like that one where you have to find that little kid's toys and The Oracle.

After I played Seven Days a Skeptic, I almost attacked anyone who went into my room, thinking they were possessed by the Welder.

After I played Trilby's Notes, I would (and still do) shiver when anyone mentioned a "tall man".

Hell, I don't know what this game'll do to me, but I can't wait to find out.  ;D

*sniff* So long, Luke!
Luke must be a quarterback. Look how far the doggy flew! ;D

I've been following your WIP game The Hatmaker's Tale with great delight. I really loved this game. In fact, it's got me even more excited! Don't give up! I really wanna play that. I'm looking forward to this, ManiacMatt's next game and DNG2 with great anticipation.

A job well done. It was a real pleasure to play through! I hope you make more games, because I'm dying to get another fix. ;D

Hey, if it's to see if adventure games are still popular, everyone should download! You don't have to actually PLAY the thing, just download it.

I bet in Case 8, you find out that cult, Mr. Yatamoto, and the rest of the murderin' gang, were all controlled by a giant lambchop! A giant, evil lambchop, that you get into a Final Fantasy boss battle with. And, of course, since the lambchop is undead, you use your most powerful Curaga spell on it to do insane damage! And then when you kill it, all evil is destroyed, and there's peace on earth, and all of that hippie stuff.

And then, Ben Jordan pulls off his mask and reveals he is and was Jesus all along, and Ben Jordan was just a made-up name! Well, this kind of makes that girl sad (because there's no way she can marry Jesus, because that's probably impossible), and Simon starts playing air guitar because his best friend turned out to be Jesus. And then Percival Jones gets a haircut. The end.

I the regular version before. It was mysterious, and it scared me a lot

When that mysterious figure appeared behind me.

I thought it was too short, though. Glad to see some length being added to it!

I did think this installment was funnier, and it had more references to the ride. And I can't wait to see how putting Keith Richards into the film series will turn out. I remember everyone thinking that he was going to be in the second film, a year before this one was released.
Spoiler
But how are they going to explain how Barbossa is still alive, when he was killed in the first movie? And why is that monkey still undead? I thought that when the curse was lifted in the first film, everyone was returned to a mortal state. I just hope they'll be able to make resolutions in the film as easy as they can make story branches, because this film left a hell of a lot of loose ends to tie up.

Also,

I loved the fight scene on the waterwheel. It was so well-done, and it was really cool to see them reacting to it spinning round and round. It was my favorite scene in the movie. Props to whoever came up with the idea for it!

Can't wait for #3! ;D

I went to see the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and it was pretty good. I just didn't like how the ending made it so you have to go see the third movie to get the rest of the story. The first movie ended like it was a single movie, and I wish that this one would have the same sense of closure, instead of demanding for another six dollars.

I would rate it 4 stars.

EDIT: It is out of 5 stars.
