Excellent Rode,

I finally finished it, it took me a while to figure out few things after my last post but sleeping sometimes is the best medicine for getting out of being stuck in a game.

All wrapped up in a neat little package.

You can be very proud of this game.

You trickster,

I finished it, I can't believe I missed that click, quite a hard game for a short one.

Spoiler
I didn't get the Pat Rafter joke with the dunes?

Excellent game so far Rode,

I must have downloaded the earlier version cause my piglatin doesn't work, I d/l it about 14hrs ago, just started playing it.

The puzzles are very hard, or I just have no idea what i'm supposed to be doing, probably a bit of both.

Spoiler
I keep figuring things out slowly, I know i've gotta get the muzzle and somehow distract the people but haven't figured it yet. I've charged the thinga and made the BropArm Hybrid but haven't found a use for it or even know it's a complete object yet. also haven't found a use for the thinga, Just thought I'd give you some feedback about some physicalities. I don't want any hints, I'll just sleep on it and see how I go next time.

Very impressive in every aspect

Hey jetxl,

I finally got round to playing this game.
The puzzles were quite clever, a bit short but that's ok.
I'm glad I didn't have to restore each time in th arcade sequence, and the timer, well I didn't get to test it.

keep up the good work

tricky game so far fangyrabbit,

it took me a while to get going and now I'm very stuck

Spoiler
I'm under ground, I have the cup of sunshine, a platic cape, the broken rope, the transmitter, a piece of sun and the vaporiser, I've looked, touched and clicked with every inventory everywhere on all the screens,

Is there an item i missed somewhere, can you go across the water or climb down the shaft somehow, I can't think of anything logical or not left to do, I'm sure I'll kick myself when I find out, I just need a hint in the right direction. I'll keeptrying.

Just one bug, (It only happened once, but I can't remeber the order of things I did or where i was standing) but one time when I clicked the vaporiser on the lake near the start, the character ended up on a non walkable area, The top right hand corner of the screen

The Rumpus Room / Re:Haiku maybe help?

I wondered where this,
Had gone, dissappeared it did
here it is again

The sticky glue wore
Fell a long way, who will pay
we need super glue

Done it's time it has,
Now free to go, bless its wake
Goodbye, we will keep

Great little game Sylpher,

I finally got round to playing it,

I agree that it's too short, It took me a while to get started, couldn't get out of the first room, then I read the manual.

I don't know what people are talking about with the sky, I thought it was a pretty original style for an adventure game.

congrats and I hope you continue it.

This is going to be awsome,

I think it's been sublininally forged into my head from your signature Snake, not a bad idea.

Love the screenshot and the characters, I'll download the music too to get the full preview effect, You got a good team for this game.
#1469
Thanks for Downloading everyone, not much feedback, but I know it's been downloaded 86 times in the last 2 days, So people must be playing it.

The puzzles are logical, the scipting is tight, it has custom interface and cursors, and the story well, you'll just have to find out for yourself.

play it and tell me what you think.
I hope you all enjoy the game.

If you feel like voting for it, email Magintz

and send "Saddson Issein by Timosity" in the email to vote

Thanks

Looks good so far except

Spoiler
When I talked to the guy that wanted me to get the fuel for the jeep, I saw the cut scene, then talked to him again to see the other responses and you can't stop speaking to him, then if you choose the message for the cutscene again, it takes you to the cutscene screen with no people in it so you get stuck. (you forgot to add  stop to the last option in the dialog, and to stop the other bug you can add an option-off to the one that runs the cutscene)

I thought I'd better point that out, I'll play again and not talk to him twice.

Edit: Sorry to report more bugs but I noticed 2 more, when you click the petrol can with water on the knife when you are not in the right room the game crashes. This is because you used a room message not a global message, the same thing happened when I clicked the pen on the knife, I didn't even know what I was doing but this is for the same reason as the other.

Also if you use the hand to open the pen store you go to the screen but the character is not there, if you look at the door or use another click you are in the room too.

There was a few other similar bugs (with clicking items on items), you just need to go through and weed them out.

I finished it, good game, I loved the bit where roger comes in.

Looking good Vel,

Sounds interesting with a non linear plot, there aren't too many of them around.

keep up the good work

That's a cool little game Relight,
Spoiler
some of the graphics were good, and I liked the use of photos.
The 3d animation at the end was pretty neat, the only dissappointing thing was the use of roger.
who was the celebrity, was it someone in the xfiles locker photo or was ed or maria a celeb? I didn't recognise any.
some people may have the same problem with mine

It's definately not a bug in the game, well for me anyway, if it happened only once it was probably just something to do with windows

Spoiler
the 2 Ewen's were Ewen McGregor (Star Wars 1&2, Trainspotting etc) and Ewen Bremner (I can understand not knowing him, He's a scottish actor also in Trainspotting and a few other smaller movies)
I guess you have to know the actors to get the whole "The Ewen" UN joke.

The main celebrity was Adrian Edmondson, who was the leader of The Ewen, skater dude, who was Vivian in The Young Ones, which is an early 80's Brittish comedy (my favourite show when I was growing up) He also starred in another English comedy Bottom.

I played Proof of Fiction and saw the trivia there too. Obviously my trivia was nothing to do with Iraq but There are also 2 different set of questions depending on who you get the test from.

It's just a coincidence cause I didn't play Proof of Fiction until I'd released my game.

Hope you enjoyed

Cool AJA,

I didn't even know this existed until now, looks quite handy, although I don't mind the editor in the agseditor, it could be handy for beginers.

Cool game Jetxl,

Spoiler
I've got one similar thing in my game, questions you have to answer, but mine are totally irelevant to Iraq, btw I got all the answers right first go.

Also one little bug, you can go back in the bunker and get the MJ pic

I agree there should be more descriptions but it still works without them.

It's hard to tell if people play or like your games when people don't respond. Feedback is always good, I haven't played Salem Moons yet eventhough I downloaded it a while ago, I'll get around to it soon, I also liked Witch Night, that was you and someone else wasn't it?

only one person has responded to my MAGS entry so far but I know it has been downloaded 47 times in the last 24 hours

Good Luck

The start is probably the hardest part of the game cause you have to do something unusual, the rest flows pretty well, (I think) I had to make it hard, but have you found the helicopter screen, click on the gear stick and you have a clue in what you have to make, it also comes in handy for the drawer, and one of the items you already have comes in handy, Also if you are still stuck read the readme and focus on the intructions for the cursors, there is a sly hint there.

I've finally released my entry to February's MAGS competition.

The game is called "Saddson Issein"

You play Saddson, son of you know who.
I've changed names and locations in this game for humorous reasons.

I've put a lot of effort into this game so that everyone can enjoy it. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, There is minor coarse language and Adult themes, probably a PG rating.

The game is in High colour 640*400 but only for the characters faces really and a few other details.

The graphics are hand drawn and digitally coloured, not that well, but I wanted a child like look for it.

The introduction is a must see, also you need to watch it to get jokes later on. (it goes for 5 mins roughly) There's also a lot to take in, so you may understand more meanings after playing again.

If you know how to finish it it takes about 20 mins.

The puzzles aren't too hard (I think?) and there aren't too many puzzles in the game.

There is also an alternate puzzle depending on a certain situation, It happens in the 2nd stage of the game.

I can't hotlink from my site, so you have to go here to download it, sorry
http://members.lycos.co.uk/timosity/saddson2.php

If you get some error clicking on my link just try it again,
I just tried it and got an error, 2 seconds later I didn't.

the server may be busy

Also I only tested the game myself, I'm pretty sure ther are no bugd but who knows,

If you find any bugs, IM or email me

Thanks

Enjoy
