Yeah, looks excellent Steve,

I don't mind which way you have the slopes for DM's hole, but by the way it's drawn, it looks like you got it the wrong way around.

and on the third hole I was a bit confused in what the light green part was, I guess it must be some sort of jump cause you don't go under what looks like a tunnel, and if you hit the ball slow enough you end up back on the bridge and have to go round again.

anyway, I guess you'll have new improved graphics and uniform slope, jump, tunnel etc and other features when done. well if not there's a suggestion.

and DM, I don't know what you were thinking about skipping the shot animation/move with a click or key, wouldn't that totally ruin the whole point??

keep up the good work

Yeah, I've thought that about colours before, and I guess it's true to some extent, cause some people are colour blind, the most common one being red/green colour blind, where it is hard to distinguish between the two colours, they may look the same.

Colour blindness is an hereditary thing that is more common in males, it's quite rare for a female to have it.

I've also thought about the colours that we see as being the rejected colour.

EG. you see leaves as being green (well most of them), but what is really happening is the other colours are actually being absorbed or used by the plant for a reason and the green part of the spectrum is being reflected so that's why we see green.

so it's a twist in thinking, that the colours that we see are the ones that are not needed, or rejected by the particular object.

I figured out the meaning of life once, then the next day when I was sober I'd forgotten. Which in turn makes me believe you should combine all sorts of drugs in your system, and it makes the answer really clear. The only way to remember it is to keep yourself topped up to that level.

Which in turn makes me believe that we were never meant to know the answer because we were never designed to take that many drugs continually.

But all I can remember is that it got to the point where all the light went into a tiny spot all condensed like when you switch off a CRT TV. Which is quite similar to the theory of the expanding & collapsing of the universe.

my universe was collapsing until I realised (or completely not) what was going on.

but the light could have also been something to do with the camp fire, but strangely enough the battle between coke & pepsi was evident, if it weren't for them I'd be insane, but if they never existed it would have proven the theory that each time the universe expands again, it comes back slightly different. De ja vu is not as stupid as it seems. most cases of it are not in the real sense but if the theory is right, I've probably posted this message before (give or take a few words [if words were called words then])

and BTW, 42 is not even close (that theory is so flawed, I won't even begin to give the question, as it's not the right one)

But in all seriousness, I guess we will never really know, as theories are just estimated guesses, but I've thought of this type of shit pleanty of times, and although the answer lies within me, it is trapped until I escape.

We are all pretty much like germs or viruses in the whole scheme of things, not too important but exist all the same (at least in our own minds [but more likely just in my mind as this is all a figment of my imagination])

When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter at all, and to think about it is just wating time and brain cells that could be used for more productive and important things like killing brain cells with substance abuse, study (not of philisophical bullshit)

But in all seriousness, I guess we will never really know, as theories are just estimated guesses, but I've thought of this type of shit pleanty of times, and although the answer lies within me, it is trapped until I escape.

hang on, did I write that twice, how did that happen????

Try:

MoveObjectDirect(3, 9, 40, 5);

that usually does it

Happy Belated B'day Ultimo, hope the pot heads didn't spoil your fun too much, I hope you don't rely on alcohol after making that statement. different strokes for different folks and all that.

legal or illegal, all drugs are bad, some may help you live longer, but was that intended????

Yay, I turned 28 on the 11th of Feb so don't worry Dave & Darth, we are still young. Well I still feel young

I've only used this program to edit and cut up longer midi's but it may be able to do the job.

It's totally freeware

Cool Duzz, I remember playing the demo of this ages ago, I'll play it soon, it just took me 30 secs to d/l literally

I have a built in sound card on an ASUS motherboard and although I don't have that specific problem, I did have an issue playing midi sounds at first.

Is it midi sound that doesn't work or just any sound.

check your audio properties and see what your selections are for midi & sound

I also have a PCI soundblaster card installed too so I can switch between, I checked what IRQ's they were on and the built in one is on 17 and the other is on 22, I'm not sure if that makes any difference but someone may know.

I also have a problem that was never solved, possibly regarding sound, when skipping cutscenes the game aborts with no message, but I don't know if it's related to any of this.

QuoteHe seems to be strangely happy about this unfortunate even. Bastard probably has a huge life insurance.

And Naranjas seems like he's too busy checking out the chicks in the crowd that he forgot to save CJ. Maybe he's collecting the life insurance?

I remember this, and congrats on getting married and all that.

I was watching The Simpsons, and it was one that they went to England. Although these episodes that they go overseas can be funny, they obviously don't do much research and confuse things with wrong countries. I sort of feel strange each time I see one of these episodes cause I know it will make me cringe at some point, and also Dame Edna is not from England. There seems to be a common thing that happens when they go overseas, they get into trouble, end up in court and go to gaol for something that they probably wouldn't go to gaol for unless they were in America. It is just a cartoon, but sometimes a bit more research would make for a more interesting episode.

I was watching 'Natural Born Killers' the other day and I was trying to figure out what accent Robert Downey jr was trying to do. To me it sounded like a combination of South African, Zimbabwean, Aussie, Kiwi & Pommy, and none of those correctly. He tended to slip between them & when he shouted a bit of American slipped in. I love the movie though.

And when is this thread going to fucking move, um, hello moderator, it's up to you...

I guess a moderator probably hasn't read the first post????

I agree with the legalisation or decriminalisation of drugs, it would in turn save many lives, stop people from being criminals, less crime, less people in gaols for all the wrong reasons.

Of course there would still be addicts, but prescriptions for drugs would be necessary. There are pleanty of prescription drugs people are on these days that are far worse than some of the street drugs anyway, and the elderly are generally drug addicts and it's socially acceptable.

I also think Doctors should give less prescriptions for drugs and try natural remedies first and maybe drugs at a last resort. Some of the drugs people are on these days are given out like lollies, and the doctors don't even really know how to control them with the patients, they just go off studies in general and not always take into consideration their personal, physical & Psychological states.

It comes down to the major drug companies that are just like any other business, trying to make as many sales as possible, it is totally corrupt and doctors get more benefits and patients for prescribing these drugs.

Most of these hardcore drugs like Heroin are actually quite safe if pure, and the person knows how to use it properly. It's impurities that cause problems, a main one is they have no idea of the percentage in the hit, therefore never really know what dose they are taking.

It's just hard to get a drug to become legal once it's illegal. Alcohol is an example of a drug that can be used sensibly, and it's also an example of how drugs in our society can be major problems whether they are legal or not.

It's just lack of research that goes on and on in our society, and the sudden banning of drugs without any research. If it was all worked out sensibly in the beginning there wouldn't be as many problems, and then people could choose what to get wasted on instead of having to use alcohol just so they feel like they're not breaking any laws.

Driving is a big factor to consider cause obviously you wouldn't want people driving around off their heads. They do have tests for other drugs just like an alcohol breathaliser. They have trials going on here at the moment testing truck drivers for speed, marijuana and other drugs.

Also what I think would be an even bigger problem is people driving when they are withdrawing from drugs, it would probably be worse than when they were on the drugs. And they wouldn't be able to test for this if the particular drug wasn't in their system.

There are a lot of arguments for and against this issue, but to me it makes sense to atleast try some of these things and see where it heads.

Zero Tolerance is just turning a blind eye to a serious problem, and getting rid of the wrong people and will never solve the problem. people backing this sort of ignorance is one of the other serious problems in our society. It doesn't work, so hey, why not try something else.

I don't want this debate again either

I can, because I have a theory that if less people owned guns they would be the people more likely to use them for harm.

I can see what you are saying, but that theory is flawed as it's proven in other countries with less guns that it isn't the case.

It still holds to reason if a crazy person wanted to kill people, there'd be plenty of other ways too.

true, and obviously it happens, it's all part of human nature to cull our own species.

shbazjinkens, I was kind of joking, even though in 1% of cases I might be right. I know the games don't necessarily make people psychotic, but a lot of psychotic people are attracted to those sort of games.

But you can't deny anything about gun laws in the US being a problem. And all I mean is there are more quantities of guns, therefore more chance of them being used irresponsibly. It only takes 1 accident for your kid to kill you, no matter how well you teach them.

Then If you make tougher gun laws the black market will just get bigger, cause everyone is used to having their guns.

it's catch-22 and a long time before the government wakes up to itself and at least has a think about it, and don't bring in all that constitution crap, that's the oldest bad excuse in the book.

If you have the equipment around in quantities it will get used, if it's not there, people will either just forget about it or do something else.

Just an analogy, there isn't really much of a 'Crack' problem in Australia cause there aint much Crack if any, so people use Cocain (very expensive) but mainly just speed. It's a different case with other drugs that are grown or manufactured locally.

So all I'm really saying is that if less people owned guns, less people would get injured or killed by them. Makes logical sense to me & you can't argue with that logic.
