*You can carry many bullets for your gun, where is he keeping them?  ;)

You can also carry multiple guns. How many people can actually carry several assault rifles, rocket launchers, machine guns, handguns, etc. at one time?

You can damage an enemy by shooting his weapon. lol

a strategy game
This reminds me of X-Com: UFO Defense especially the way base building works.

Voice pack is coming up! Two out of five actors have sent in their recordings so far.

Yay! Let's hear it for the guy who introduced two of the three female voice-overs for this game. Anyway, did my friend contact you? She hasn't responded to my second message either.

I agree but we will eventually get used to it. That is usually what happens. The reason they change the layout all the time is so they can appear useful to the company. As a result, they get to keep their jobs.

I like modern/futuristic (Fallout), steampunk (Arcanum), and a mix of everything (Septerra Core). I haven't played much science fiction RPGs but I think I would like them very much.

I have submitted a link to my Youtube video on your blog. The video contains three of the lines that you posted. When I get a chance, I will compile a video of my little critter voice. I don't know if you need that voice though.

I will submit a sample of my voice sometime later today or tomorrow. My blog has a few samples.

Another cliche is people leaving hints so you can figure out their passwords or combinations to locks.

The passwords also tend to be something meaningful to the person. If it was me, I would just use gibberish with a pattern that I can see.

Hi, I can offer the following services:

Voice Acting: My regular voice is deep. I can also do a few other voices like that of a little critter. I am still trying to work on my stoic warrior voice. Anyway, here is a list of my voice samples:
http://turtiathan.blogspot.com/p/my-voice-samples.html
The list isn't complete because I am still trying to record all the different types of voices that I can do. If my list doesn't have something you want, feel free to tell me your requirements and I will see what I can do.

Play-Testing: How hard can it be? I have tested a few games before. I am somewhat obsessive-compulsive which means I will look at small details.

Proof Reading: I am a native speaker of American English so I can look over documents. I realize that a lot of people here are new to the English language. In addition, I can look at the dialog of the characters to make sure they stay consistent throughout the story.

Story Design: I can offer suggestions for story ideas.

BTW, Saren, the poster from two posts before mine, has a good voice. Don't hesitate to ask for her voice acting services. :)

"All your base are belong to us."

Anyway, not everyone here is a native speaker of English. That is why a lot of games have spelling and grammatical errors.

I have a gun everyday. But I also live in Texas. ;)

so do I
However, I don't have a gun.

Apparently .50 cal sniper rifles are legal here too.

It reminds me of the TV show, Stargate Universe, where Eli the nerdy gamer figured out how to dial the stargate to an ancient spaceship in a far away galaxy from playing an online game. The respected college professor was never able to figure out that problem.

AGS Games in Production / Re: Metal Dead

As a fan of heavy metal, I am interested in this game. Although I think zombies are overdone. What do you guys think of Brütal Legend? It is Jack Black's heavy metal game for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Metal is dead!

This is true. A lot of new metal bands are just noise. If you want high quality heavy metal bands, you got to go underground. Iced Earth, Annihilator, Artillery, Toxik, etc. are some good metal bands.

I think this holds true for life in general...

Yes, adventure games are more realistic than say first-person shooters. In adventure games, it does seem characters are more helpless against enemies. You usually kill them in more creative ways like dropping a heavy box on them or releasing hot steam on them once they walk to a certain point.

The characters seem to not be good with hand-to-hand combat either. It is rarely that you have a gun. Yep, sounds like real-life unless you live in Texas where guns are popular.

It is impossible to die unless one of the following is true:
- The occasional enemy shows up.
- A bomb or whatever is about to destroy the place.
- Your character dies at the end of the game.

You loot people's homes without getting into trouble. I think this is more common in RPG games though. Then again, RPGs are pretty much adventure games that involve violence.
