Cheers guys!

CaptainD: That'd be very much appreciated, thanks! We'll gladly accept all exposure we can get. :)

I keep drifting away from AGS more and more but I'm not done with my dream of becoming a game developer! Yesterday marked my 10 year anniversary on the AGS forums and what better way to celebrate that than to release my first commercial game. My friend and I set up a small game company called Team Twistoid and we started developing mobile games and now we're working quite hard to get ourselves out there. Our first release is called Factory Escape and it's a challenging autorunner where you control a cute little robot trying to escape a conveyer belt pushing you towards certain doom. It's available on Google Play now so if you've got an Android device, do check it out! iOS version will probably be released soon after the holidays.

There are is a paid version (0,99€) with more content and a lite version (ad supported) of the game on Google Play. You can get the game here:

Factory Escape Lite

If you wish to stay up to date with our future projects go ahead and like our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/twistoid

We'll keep updating the game with more levels and features while also working on our next game project. Hope you enjoy it! :D

This is really lovely!

Congrats on the release! I have to say, despite it being a bit buggy and sligthly crude gameplaywise, I really enjoyed the mood of the game and see potential for growth! It managed to immerse me to a point and I would enjoy playing another game with a similar setting and general mood. Perhaps a sequel? :)

Well done! I am thoroughly impressed! It looks great, has an amazing retro vibe, the music is sweet, there's a lot of variety so it doesn't feel repetitive for a good while. Those other drivers are assholes though.

SilverSpook, I think it comes down to pacing and how the text is divided. If you print long paragraphs of text on the screen at once the player is bound to feel overwhelmed. But if the text is paced properly, as it usually is in classic adventure games, it's much less straining for the player. I'm obviously only taking into account the majority of players here, there are of course those who enjoy interactive fiction for instance and so are used to reading loads of text. If you're ok with making a game for that smaller demographic then great, go for it, but I don't think most players nowadays have the patience for it. If your game requires large amounts of written content make sure there are enough pauses and enough variety in the presentation of it.

This looks extremely nice and sounds like a great idea for a game!

I started playing the first chapter and I'm more impressed by this game than I ever hoped to be! It's amazingly well done! I actually feel like I'm in the Loom universe, which is a huge accomplishment! I salute you.

Wow, that was a really awesome track. Reminds me a lot of Nobuo Uematsu's Final Fantasy tunes (Aerith's theme in particular) which only improves the experience for me. If that is intentional, I applaud you. Only noteworthy things I could criticize: Around 1:35 when the song gets really powerful the audio quality drops noticably. Another thing is that in the beginning I had a hard time grasping the rhythm of the song because of all the soft strings and the pacing. Only at around 0:50 I was able to listen to it without concentrating too much because the other instruments start supporting the song.

That said, I loved it and I want to hear it in a game! Combine this with a well written story and you will break my heart.

What are the controls? I pressed nearly everything and Jesus always falls in after 3 seconds or so. Am I missing something?

You might be missing the big yellow button in the menu screen that says "HOW TO PLAY" :P It's a simple button smashing game where you just need to press the right and left arrow keys in turns really fast.

Have you ever wondered who would win in a race: Jesus or Moses? Well, wonder no more! Try it out for yourself! Play Saints Run!

It's a browser-playable jam game I made with two friends of mine over the course of 3 days. We had a blast making it. Hope you like it. :D

Happy B-day to the B-man!

Wow, the look of this game has improved significantly since you first posted this! It looks really awesome now that you've fixed the mixed resolution problems! The premise of the story sounds a bit mundane the way you wrote it in your post but I hope it actually turns out to have interesting twists. :)

Completed Game Announcements / Re: Breakage

This game looks really good. There are plenty of nice animations and altogether the graphics are very consistent. Well done in that area!

That being said, the game fails completely in immersing me and that is because of the lack of sound. Sound and music is a must have! I'm sure you could manage to find a talented musician for this game. I'll give it another go when/if that happens!

Mine is Droole from Space Quest 5 and it's my avatar because Droole.

I love the sound of that premise and the visuals look nice and moody! Gonna try this out for sure when you're done!

Check out the teaser trailer that we showed at PAX Australia, we have a MUCH updated metal soundtrack this time!

Oh that is bloody awesome!! Well done, new musician!

Looks great! Your art has evolved a lot! Will this one feature MIDI music like the first one? It would really benefit from some real recorded metal. :)

I'm glad you guys have enjoyed it!

Also, absolutely, loved the graphics, especially the rural area. My favorite was the tree -- such a simple technique, yet so detailed.

Thanks so much!

Actually, I liked that slap animation and sound so much, I answered several questions "wrong" on purpose. That doesn't make me a bad person, right? ;D

If it does then the game has pretty much served its purpose.
