Personally, I don't think that anyone mentioning who they would like to work with is ass kissing as much as just wishful thinking.

Wanting to work with someone is wishful thinking. Telling the public that you want to work with these people is ass kissing.

Also...

I'm changing my artists: Yahtzee and Grundislav. Why do I choose them? Cause Yahtzee's character art and Grundislav's BJ backgrounds make one really interesting combination.

I strongly disagree. These people have very different styles and I don't think they would match.

...ok, that was a bit off-topic.

Ah I see, so it's not a bug after all. Yeah, I guess an option allowing you to decide whether it will overlay the GUI or not would be very nice. I'm sure it would be a piece of cake for you to implement. :)

I suggest you to use GraphicsGale. It handles palettes very well.

If a GUI is visible on the screen at the same time as I use DisplayTopBar, the text box appears under the GUI and not in front of it.

Change the Subject of this thread to "The Brown Nosing Thread". ;)

Nobody ever apologises me... I feel so left out...

This all seems very mysterious. Just the way I like it. I can't wait to find out what Anokhron really means. ;D

Good luck with this! :)

I would like to play this but it's too expensive. Congratulations on getting it done though. :)

Yeah I tried this out some time ago. I very much liked the interface and the atmosphere the game had. One thing that really bothered me though was that you can't save the game manually, and the game doesn't let you know when it automatically saves. :\ But apart from that it's really worth to try out.

Sorry but I don't quite understand this.

Okay, so Mikko hasn't been online for almost a week. Maybe it would be better if FSi decided the next MAGS quidelines. Since MAGS is already a bit late. :)

Haha, this looks so very great! I want to play this. I agree with the others that the story sounds really interesting. :D It's a pity though that you didn't finish your HP game. I was looking forward to that one too. Good luck with this though, I hope you'll do better with this one! :)

Personally I actually quite like what they did with The Exchange Student graphics. But it's all of course just a matter of opinion. :)

Heh, this looks great. I'm really looking forward to trying it out. :D

function on_key_press(int keycode) {

if (player.Room == TITLE_SCREEN_ROOM_NUMBER) keycode = 0;

if (keycode==32) {
Ã,  if (gui[1].Visible==true) {
Ã,  Ã,  gui[1].Visible=false;
Ã,  Ã,  return; } //"return" stops running any more functions
Ã,  else {
Ã,  Ã,  gui[1].Visible=true;
Ã,  Ã,  return; }
}
}

I think adding that line will help. Just change TITLE_SCREEN_ROOM_NUMBER to the number of the room that you are using as a title screen.

Just thought I'd pop up and say... HAPPY BIRTHDAY AL NINIO! \o/

I downloaded it Jojoboy. It's all safe.

As a word of advice, KeyShapedGoat, you shouldn't release your first test games. I don't mean to offend you but the game was very short, buggy and it used the default graphics. The backgrounds weren't bad but you still have a lot to improve. Good luck with any future projects you may start though. :)

I myself am working (well... not really working but it's in production... ¬¬) on a quite similiar "life simulation" game, so this really catches my interest. I'm really looking forward to play this when it's ready. :)
