Looking awesome Quo. Do you have any ETA on the demo?  ;D

I think quo_sp will be as clueless as me, so since i already googled it...

quo_sp, ETA means "Estimated time of arrival" :D

This thread reminded me of this:

Everyone's a little bit racist

You can use a Global Variable to keep an account of bananas given to the Ape

Hey barefoot,

I think you should buy a basic C Programation book with exercises and make them.

I think your problem is you never faced the very basic programing problems, and you just jumped to gaming, that's why you don't see the logic Khris talks about.

I know I'm not being "constructive" or helpful here, but:

*inhales*

YOU ROCK, MAN! These backgrounds ROCK! WOOOooooOOOoooOOO!!!

*calms down*

That is all, have a good day sir.

I'd say that's a pretty ego-constructive post, just saying...

Ummm, couldn't you use a "WheetWhoot" character and FollowCharacter?
If the WheetWhoot has a walkin animation that shows it hovering when walking you should get that effect... Right?

It's all theory though, I never tried that...
#7
What should the WheetWoot exactly do and when?

I agree with Khris that script would make the object flicker, but is hard to propose a fix without knowing what and when it's supposed to do... :S

Just wondering, why don't you create a custom view with some extra frames in the frame you want "locked" then use that view when you want the character to... ¿ice-skate?
#9
I know this thread is oooold, but...
Spoiler
I can't seem to find the script. I checked the board and saw the ad... but I don't find anything else to do in BC

I agree, Scavenger's method is the way to go. Keep the outline "multiplied" in the top layer, then use a layer for each color. That's how I've colored comicbook characters in the past.

AGS: This is not a game

Maybe you can have a bubble sprite and a function that animates it randomly inside the tubes :D
#13
Now that you have the plant brush you can make it change, not only the angle, bus slightly the size and the darkness. This will make them even more random.

I really think bubbles and floating motion are a must. Also, i would give the liquid a bit of color, so you can see the tubes are full.

What about not filling the tubes all the way up? Maybe some air in the top, and seeing the surface of the liquid a bit would help...

Well, most german people speak good english, but english level in spain is pretty poor (as you have seen MANY times in this forum). So a translation is usually good for people that can't speak english too well and will lost most jokes in translation.

Also, games with a heavy use of slang should to be translated, or the ones with a lot of technical words.

My two cents: The feet pointing downwards when the knees are raised look a bit odd...  :-\

Ok, I just finished MMD!! I'm ready to translate this, hahaha :D

I can't wait! I loved DOTT

"Cfg Dfcto" ?? (Configuración por defecto)
"CfgOrigen" (Configuración origen) <- Not very correct

OMG, all this trouble for a single button... :p

Just in case "Restable" is a typo :p

Sorry!

About Unhadled... I'd translate them... would be a bit weird to have just some lines in english, would probably confuse people that don't speak english at all (the ones that will probably seek a translation)

Ok, I agree poplamanopla has a point. Tirar is the classic Lucasarts word for Pull, so...  ::)
