General Discussion / Re:The Mars Volta
Fri 11/07/2003 21:20:18
Hey! The Mars Volta is really cool. I got introduced to the CD a few days ago and I really love it. And it doesn't make it any worse that it's the flea-man himself handling the bass on the record. I only briefly listened to At The Drive-in, but it didn't really catch on the same way Mars Volta did. Great stuff.

Wehoo! Another dane!

Anyway, bloody nice sprites! I hope you're gonna finish a game with those in it. I can't wait to see backgrounds. Give use more before we choke in our own drool!

It may pain you now,
But just wait until I have,
Severed your spine.

So, when you're lying there.
Think about the birds and bees,
And other happy thoughts.

Use it very well,
Might be your last chance to scream,
Until m0ds' penis finds you!

Please! You make me laugh!
Listen here, for I kid you not!
Helm wears nothing. At all.

As for the fuzzy,
He obviously has no clue.
Look! His avatar is blue.

Aha, Fuzzpilz! Dog!
You've stolen my doomy doom.
Therefore you must pay!

I will stomp on you,
with my mighty booty boots,
Till you're only dust!

Then watch me as I,
Carry you out to my toilet,
and flush you down there!

Well, it's getting late, so I'm just gonna throw my favorites in this category:

Bands that are slightly funky and therefore can not come into any of the other categories and that's why they're dropped right here

At The Drive-In, Raging Speedhorn, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle... Ah, screw it. Throw in anything Patton. Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Motorpsycho (Yay!), Carpark North, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marilyn Manson, Dave Matthews Band, Royksopp.

And add the bands in my other posts and you have my everchanging hit-list.

And if it's really late add this to my list:

Radiohead - OK Computer/The Bends,
Deftones - White Pony,
Opeth - Deliverance,

Fantomas,
MC Paul Barman,
Faith no more,

Some Slayer,
A wee bit of Royksopp too.

Oh, yeah, and The Used. Yumyumyum. Yumyum. Yum.

Barcik!
Make sweaty love to me, for your game is sweeter than the substance you get when you mix sugar and honey.... And more sugar and then a hint of vanilla. Anyway, What I'm trying to say here is: You game rocks!

Although a little short for my taste but the character art was great and monkey was apey!

Play this game, guys and gals!

Nice graphics, I really like it. Really unique. Yet you need to check some serious grammar in dialogue and stuff. That almost makes the game unplayable, because it's so annoying and that's a pity, cause it's a really great demo.
#36
Sure, man. That sounds like great idea. Just throw 'em scripts up here so we can check them out.
#37
Damn, dude!
That's gotta be the best original stuff I've seen in a very long time. Superb animation/graphics, excellent atmosphere, feel and style. To describe the graphics without using superlatives is like describing Samatha Fox's ...(Well, you know) ...  without using both hands. The menus also work out so well that this one has to get a freakin' high score on my personal Demo review list. After seeing this i can't wait for Ignac II...Well, In fact I've been waiting for that since Ignac. Keep up the fantastic work. (Can't tell you to stick with AGS because it's the best, because I've only just started using it. Seems brilliant so far)
