Voice-over work for your game!

I am offering character or narrator work for your game in English, German and Dutch. I have a 40+ year old male voice that can be used in a versatile way (I am a trained singer) and can also try my hand at accents. Looking to expand my portfolio so my work for you will be pro bon (within limits).

Let me know if this piques your interest!

Here are the awards (not many contenders unfortunately).

It was difficult to choose between both EXCELLENT animations, however...

1st place: Gilbet
The fact that you used so many of the elements very creatively, I liked a lot.

2nd place: Saberteeth
Not that yours wasn't creative Saberteeth, I love the 'bunnie's revenge' theme!

Good work, both, and thank you for participating.

Take it away, Gilbet.

Wilco!

I was sick for a week so from there the no ending of the competition. Expect award and trophy later today!

Well, it's now 2 days past the extended deadline... anybody else want to contribute or should we call this one quits...?

That's absolutely gorgeous Sookie, even if it does creep me out=S

I agree. She looks like she belongs in Fear or Bioshock. Well drawn though.

No one else? Ok, just organizing the award ceremony... So here they are, decided by popular vote; along with Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies. Also included is special plastic-o-matic patented baby blue honorable mention trophies for two of our contestants:

First place: Ilych
You've gotta love that Guybrush vibe! And the tree / seasons design is awesome.

Second place: Darius Poyer
Day... night... good... better... excellent! You packed so much detail into such a little space.

Third place: Jim Reed
Worlds within worlds, windows within windows. It's almost Escher!

Honourouble Mention #1: Sinsin
My personal favourite, you not only broke the window but also the third wall. I really love yours.

Honourouble Mention #2: Straidogstrut
If nothing else (although the quality is excellent) your many efforts merit honourable mention. Well done!

So that is THAT! Thank you all for wonderful participation. Ilyich, take it away!

As mentioned, this comp's deadline has been extended by a week to the 30'th. So get animating!
#10
Awesome voting! Anyone else want to chip in before we end this?
#11
Cool, so voting seems to be acceptable for everyone. Go to it, peeps, those who haven't voted yet. I'll give it a day of two...

Gilbet! Wow!

I am extending the deadline with another week, therefore till the 30th (my Bday!). So pleas guys, let those juices bubble and flow, and the animation grow!

I'm going to attempt this one. Just to double check: If I have another character in the animation, can that count as my custom 'object'?

Sure it can, no worries with that. Go for it!

Wow, awesome awesome participation!

The contest is now closed unfortunately, so any entries yet undone will not be considered for voting.

Since there are SO many excellent entries, I want to throw it out there for your consideration: I want to keep the judging fair, and not just limited to my personal taste. So how about this one time we make this a voting session, like for example the sprite jam comp? I.e. you all can vote for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The coloring ball is not usually handled this  way, the contest host (me) just picks a winner, end of story).

I don't mind doing it on my own, but I feel that to be fair to the wide variety and number of entrants, this would truly be a better way to handle it...

Your thoughts? Any MOD who wants to beat me over the head is also welcome to do that, of course.  :-\

Any intentions or ideas so far from anybody?

Nice! Judging this is going to be freakin hard.

I like to move it... and hopefully you do to. So come on, start moving some pixels!

A rabbit and a microwave. How provocative. ;-)

I thought it would get the creative juices going... hopefully!  ;)
