Hey,

As we all know, making some normal graphics and animations for your game can be very time consuming.
I thought about an idea to make animation a little faster, im not saying its the perfect solution but it might be
OKAY and will depend on the algorithms that will be used in this module.

So, my idea is to make a new section in AGS editor in which you will build skeletons on your sprites or anything that has a common pattern of movement, by building your skeleton on a finite number of images, the algorithm will produce animations to the corresponding skeleton.
here's an example:
suppose you have a sprite(4 or 8 images), you take and give the module the points/lines for legs/hands/head/shoulders/knees/feet for your 8 or 4 images.
and the program will produce some natural hand/shoulders movement when talking or standing. it may produce scratching the head for the sprite etc.. etc.. if there will be lets say 10-15 auto animations(recording of the skeleton) for (lets say) scratching the head, maybe one will be good for your sprite and you take it without even touching paint programs/your pen & paper.

so what you say, is it practical? is there something similar already made?

Hey.

Im glad you played the game.
If the robot is all what you didnt understand you are sharp, cause im sure only 3% of adventure players would really understand the whole story(not because it large or complicated but because some things there just have no reason or logic connection :)).

Ok,
the english translation is taking shape/

The GUI and all the programming changes are made,  and the first room was translated.
I think it will(probably... maybe... hopefully) be finished by sunday.

well...
making an english translation will make the game much more relevant,
but i have a serious lack of time,  i serve in the army.
Hmm.... Israel is like that,  you serve and go home for 2 or 3 days.
from a time to time(once in 2 weeks)

In this amount of time im suprised i finished it as it is.
One of my first quests i played was Indiana jone and the fate of atlantis in french, i didnt cry... i almost finished it in french until my computer's hard disk burnt...

Hello.

Its me again, yes i didnt leave this project,
in fact, because of a wound i got a vacation from the army, i had some time to progress the game.

The Beta of chapter 1 is almost ready, i mean in a day or 2 it will be ready.

I dont want to show more screenshots, because they are quite a surprise and i dont want to ruin it, even not to testers...

so i hope that in a few days i will send the beta to a few ppl and i will hopefuly fix the errors that will be found.

Hi.

Im the programmer of the game,
and im soon going to the army(24 november)
so the game is progressing very slowly,
and after that i think it will stay on-hold
but now we have 2 additional rooms since the first post.
and the game production is coming to end, but still its hard to belive i will work on it in the short vacations from the army...

I mean like skuinky did in pirate fry 2
when the player character passes from one room to the other - there is a black rectangle that rounds and closes until black screen, and it opens to a new screen(in the new room).

maybe i did not read all the guide(nobody is perfect)
but i surely tried to find it there.

any ideas?

I understand very good that hebrew sounds to you as
chinese sounds to me.
And it sounds awful.

you are right the game is for a very limited audience :(
because its in hebrew

but im sure that we can make an english edition like no time.

hopefully we will.

Hello to all living creatures.

We are making a game using INSTAGAME graphic pack in HEBREW!!!.
with some edited graphics.
This game is our first test of making adventure games.
This game is about Deimon a captain who one night woke up in a garbage sumbarine that is on her way to the bottom of the sea and he tries to figure out why.
There is also Shimi his friend who is telling about Deimons experiences in the submarine from a cave in earth.

A story in a story means 2 characters to play with and a very unusual story and a surprising end!!
full speech recorded in HEBREW!!!!
new and uniqe interface, and lucasars like dialoge system.

We are 4 people : a speech director, programmer, scripter,and a tester.
no graphics guy thats rightÃ,  :(. (we need someone good though)
