You can, however, use two rooms, with their background frames, thus reducing teh number of room files.
yeah thats what I thought I might wind up doing.

Alternatively you can import some of the room backgrounds as sprites and raw-draw to change the backgrounds.
Now when you say import as a sprite (pardon my stupidity) do you mean as an object?

I cant relly go into detail without giving away too much of the game but I need to have about 7 versions of each room (color changes) in a small project I'm working on so basicly my question is, Do i have to make each version of the same room a different room in AGS? is there a way around that? I mean it wouldnt be hard just using flags to get to the right one but i'm just looking for alternatives.

Thanks
Chris

Are there any that are any good?

Yes   Fate of Monkey Island, but more importantly FOMI2, altho it was unfinished (Shut down by LucasArts) it was a great game!

I'm considering getting a cheap Windows-based computer so that I can use AGS again and finish (or re-start) LVIII again.
SWEET! That is the best news i've seen in a long time! haha get it?

Thanks for the kind words! I am on my computer at work and now it looks all black (my monitor here sucks).
So i see there are a couple of things that need to change,
1 The color of the sky so it doesnt look Sci fi and 2 increase the brightness of the water
Any more suggestions?

Thanks man! I decided to use the original sketch for the lines  :-\ I have a version of the bg to show you guys.

I made it dark for more of the night feeling so it looks best at fullscreen!
I will do some added animations in the next couple days!

You missed the end tag  ;)

And about the hands they look like the fists are clenched. If that is not the goal I would extend the fingers abit, Also make the fingers different lengths!

A game based on Sein!?!  GENIUS!
Seriously I agree possibly a little more work on Jerry.
Also maybe differ a bit more on the face (around the eyes especially).
Great work tho I was able to tell the inspiration very quickly!
