I love the title - somehow immediately grabbed my attention.

But maybe that's some kind of idiom I never heard about?

Nope, just an unusual phrase.

Also thanks everyone!

THE UNFOLDING SPIDER: A TALE OF LOVE, ADVENTURE AND BETRAYAL

You wake up in a grimy gas station bathroom.
You remember everything.

Is the gas station attendant actually The Angel Gabriel? Why does the man waiting outside call himself The Weaver? What really goes on after hours at The Intolerable Dark, a gentleman's club for gentlemen? Are you searching for revenge - or for redemption? What waits for all of us in the darkness?

A TRAGICOMIC DETECTIVE ADVENTURE MYSTERY HORROR STORY, FORGOTTEN BY HISTORY

The critics are furious!

"BAD... NOT GOOD... A VERY BAD GAME"
-The Guardian

"ABOMINABLE... FOWLEY, MY PET CLAMSHELL, MAKES BETTER GAMES AND HE IS NOT EVEN SENTIENT"
-Huffington Post

"LAST NIGHT I PLAYED THIS GAME. TODAY I WOKE UP IN A GARDENING SHED COVERED IN A STRANGER'S BLOOD. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?"
-Country Home and Garden

PLAY IT IMMEDIATELY! CLICK ON ME

I believe it's because there's currently no way to do garbage collection on non-managed types.

I ALSO LIKE THIS!

And I'm curious to see how it works in first person.

THIS GAME IS FUCKING SPECTACULAR

it has changed the way I look at life and parrots, and human-parrot intercourse and by intercourse I mean parrot sex

It is literally the only game of its kind. Five out of five stars. Bravo.

The code should be in the After Fade In function, not Before Fade In.

Thank you for your kind words, everyone! You build me up.

Also: Here is a TEASER! No puzzles, but you can do some clicking.

So yeah I'm makin a sequel.

Many years after those other things happened, our hero Rolande wakes up in a darkened room and things start to happen again.

The story begins amid the ancient ruins of the Lost People. Centuries ago they built an enormous city here, but they never lived in it. Why not? Nobody knows. Living things still haunt the ruins. Something is sleeping far beneath the earth. Rolande comes to the ruins looking for an old friend, and things kind of spiral out from there.

FEATURING!
* Listless ghosts!
* Creepy fairies!
* The mysterious ruins of an ancient civilization!
* Puzzles involving runic magic!
* Original soundtrack up the whazoo!
* Terrible graphics!

Here is a teaser!

I'm really interested in how this is all going to turn out.

hello everyone I'm just here to reiterate that this game looks pretty awesome. IF/RPG HAS THIS EVER BEEN DONE BEFORE? It's like my two favourite things, words everywhere and fighting water nymphs with onyx daggers.

On the other hand, every attempt to combat piracy so far has been sorely misguided. DRM is crap. Censoring the internet is much, much worse.

(Note me cleverly sidling back onto topic there :D)

Maybe someday...

M0ds was working on one too.

I notice you start with one million pounds. This has not been my experience with game development so far.

Dammit. All I have is a serious of very inferior dongs.

Or maybe the Oceanspirit Dennis 'verse will now split into two parallel universes... or something...

Oh it did that a long time ago.

Well I ended up with the Bronze Dong. This is mainly because something about the shape and colour of the girl's lips and the way they moved when she spoke drove all the heterosexuality from my body, and I picked those gay options as fast as I could. But then I put the sandwich in the fridge, but then I failed the sex game, so I guess my heart wasn't really in any of that. What I'm trying to say is that it was a fun game and a compelling addition to the Oceanspirit Dennis mythos, and that I recommend it to everyone with an interest in the series, and even to those still on the fence on the subject of its validity as a genuine artistic experiment.
#77
So 2.7 does not, in fact, have that option built in? Like I said I'm not sure if it does or not. I've never used it. I'm a newcomer.
#78
The tvtropes page even mentions Eternally Us.
#79
I know 3.2 has this option right in the General Settings page, I don't know about 2.7.

Oh nice! I wish I was man enough to play dwarf fortress so I could join this. It should be fun to watch anyway.
