By 2035 nanotechnologies well be well-enough advanced that the olympics will have seperate competitions for enhanced and unenhanced physical feats.. Meaning there will be little robots designed to be injected in your blood and make you run faster, see farther and clearer, and breath easier etc. Death will be obsolete! (or take a helluva lot longer to get too) hopefully we can wipe out obesity with the tech aswell. It's impressive stuff.

And I can't wait to see what we can do with the human genome completely mapped and ready to be cracked and played with.. heh

But right now, just the fact that one little 5" x 4" card can run a complex 3D program amazes me. I mean, the sheer amount of programming and skill and hard work that goes into designing that stuff. Wow.

These "robots" will be treated the same as steroids and banned...

Week 2

IT'S MUSIC NOT MATH HOMEWORK!

Treat music as an art and not as math work. While reviewing for Gods of music and The Consensus I have noticed that people think this is just the opposite. They think if you do the same thing as everyone else you will get famous.

Here's some news for you, you won't. You also will not get any creative satisfaction from this. No one wants to hear a 4 by 4 beat with a saw synth slathered in reverb. Nor do they want to hear a rap song with a beat, a bass line and lyrics about female dogs and garden implements.

You should make music because you have a need to, a passion for it. You should be treating music as your drug of choice. You just HAVE to have more. Keep taking it. Unlike drugs, music is healthy.

Write a lot of music. Even if you have no inspiration, or if your not in the mood. WRITE MORE.

and always remember. Be original.

And most obviously the central plot features heavily the Knights Templar (Broken Sword 1,2 and 3 if you didn't know) who bought the treasure back and hid it leaving clues.

my grandpapa is partof the knights templar (extremly high degree in the masons) he said the movie was good but based on total fiction. as isthe davinci code.

i will be posting a tip ofthe week every week on my website (http://falconmusicrecordings.co.nr) I will also post em here so you dont have to go lookings

this week's:

PANNING IS YOUR FRIEND!

listen to a profesional recording...now count how many instruments are in the centre. I bet you can't get past three. Every instrument is panned to the left or right. Do this with your songs, no more then 2 intruments should be in the centre. Also, make sure you fill up the entire panning spectrum go all the way to the right with one instrument and make another one only a little bit to the right. Have fun and experiment.

while where on the topics of music tips here is a good one for everyone.

If you want you song to sound 10 times more profesional, Make a frequency spectrum for each instrument. that means equilize the bass so it only has the lower frequencies and set the high string to only play high frequencies. Make sure when you do this that when all the instruments come together it filles up the entire equilizer. This will make your song sound more complete. This makes instruments stand out more and sound a-lot more profesional. Also i recomend compressing the entire song a bit. Just to bring out more of the sound.

You can find more tips like this at me site www.falconmusic.tk just click help for begginers.

ok time for my critiques.

my first and most important suggestioin would be to go to a music shop and get some music making software such as fruity loops or reason. They are relitivly cheap and will bring your music to the next level.

the sounds you used are extremly jarring to the ear. The levels are way to loud and don't sound natural at all.

The bass in this is the same thing over and over and over again. I really don't like it when artist do that. You should make each and every instrument change constantly thoughout a song.

i feel so bad for saying all that but i believe good critiques are better and healthier for the artist then "that was good"
