Well seems no one is interested on this, but I will post a new screenshot anyway.

Here is Luke in the train during a travel to the city while he's on a mission.

AGS Games in Production / The Curfew
Wed 10/04/2019 08:16:57

The Story:

When an entire nation is opressed with a system that implements an extricted curfew, Luke begins to do a full boring routine every day, but he will change that really soon. The Curfew is a Cyberpunk Comedy/Suspense adventure game, where your main objetive is to stop the curfew and save the nation, until you discover something more bigger behind that will change your life completely.

You can discover cities, fight against the system, make friends, and also enemies, and more things you will find in this game.

The game will have a principal linear story but you can explore, make "secondary" missions, learn things that will help you through the story and make it a little bit more easy (or hard), the end can be a little bit different depend on your actions.

Screenshots:

An extra gif of the first screenshot (to see the animations):

[imgzoom]http://ags.pics/0mcP.gif[/imgzoom]
(The speed of the gif is a little bit more faster than the original game and the size is bad, I don't know
why the program save it like that, I still fighting with gifs but is an example so you can see the animations)

Progress:

Well this is one of my first games that I want to make it full-lenght, and giving to it all my passion. I work on this in my free time, I'm the only person working on the game (except for a storywriter that help me) so the progress is so slow. I started this like 8 months ago for a mags,I couldn't finish it on time, but I really loved it so I decided to making it a full game.
The game actually is about 40/50 % ready, but I can't bring a deadline for the moment, I don't want to speed up the things, this is something that I love and I want to making it a fun process too.

How about a collective project?  Like Draculator II: Byte of the Draculator...

http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=44731.0
http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/1491/

Of course, there would have to be a project lead, someone who has the time and patience to put all of the pieces together.  If I had the time, I'd volunteer, but I do not.  I'd gladly participate, though.  I think many would.

So how about it?

I really like this idea, maybe it can be done a little bit short, assign small random groups of the people that participate (2 or 3 people per group) and make some collaborative games like a mags

Well since I didn't have time to connect in the forums I wasn't available to vote, but my votes would have been for creamy for the first and second place so maybe he can take the next round and make the shape.

That mouth is creepy.
Hahaha I know, but the only 2 visible teeth is iconic in this character (The most of the fan art have the smile, but it's a little bit creepy in the style that I choose hahaha)
But here I made a version without the smile

No one of that is the game, I know is hard, maybe is an unpopular game, I don't know.
The alien comes with his ufo and late he downs to a kind of beach (so colorful) is more like a child game, and the game was in 3rd person, and when the alien get it the kind of beach you need to collect some things (like crash bandicoot) and you don't need to fall in the water.
#34
Hi everyone. Well yesterday I was thinking on some old games that I played when I was a child, I found some across the internet but I was unnable to found one. I remember that the game is an alien inside an ufo, the alien is brown skin and he was s good alien (cartoony) and I don't know why but the name  tico comes to my mind when I think on it. The game was in 3D and was for PC I remember that you need to walk across some boxes floating in water and if you fall in the water you lose. I played this game in 2003 or 2004 I tought.
I hope someome can help me or know this game.

So you started from the hi-res MI2 background and downscaled it?
It's hard to compare them as you've pasted both "before" (hi-res) and "after" (low-res) at the same resolution. And it's too small to see if the noise reduction or color reduction were positive.
...Or did I misunderstand what you posted and are you asking if your downscaling produced better results than Lucasarts' downscaling? Are the two images that you posted side to side the result of Lucasarts' downscaling (as seen in MI2) and your own downscaling from the hi-res image?

The issue is that you posted a JPEG image instead of a PNG image si you ruined all your pixel work.
I did the same as danvzare, but trying to get the similar as mi-2 process, thinking on maybe how they will make it with today technologies, more faster than those days.
The side to side (original and final) are the lucasart and the hi-red downscaling and after color and adjusts changes and 128 indeed (but I didn't check it again that's why I said that but I sure that is)
I did the images in png but when I upload to imgur they change to jpeg, I don't know how to mantain the same format when you use imgur.

Sorry for bump this but I was interested in try to get the similar as possible to the in-game image, so I take the paint original one and made a little proccess to it.
Of course the original game have alot of post-production and retouch changing and adding pixels. I didn't do that because it will take  a lot of time (I did this just for fun very fast in my free time)

The Process:

The proccess (I made it in photoshop)

I need to check again if it was indeed to 128 colours, because I added some adjusts and things after I indeed it and I didn't check it again.
