I've tried the screwdriver on everything and it doesn't work. There are no other tools around. Is there another panel I am misssing?

OK maybe I am stupid or have hit a bug but I can't move beyond the repair shop with the partition and elevator. I can't find a way to get the power on to the elevator or fix my suit so I can go thru the partition. There is what seems to be a power room but there are no hot spots in it. So where do I go from here?
