Sorry i I offended you scottdoom...never intended to...Isn't there a saying that goes like "1 image is worth more than a thousand words" ? Well...that's my general idea on giving advise in critics lounge...I'm not saying that you should adapt my style or anything....Nor I'm copying your style in the edit so you can just say hey "I'll use your edit instead" (not that I would mind) As mentioned in my post I edited it to point out the things that were wrong with your sprite imo...I find it kinda a hard to give good advise just by words....I could have said his pose looks akward...then I had to explain why and how it would look better...or I can edit it and show the contrast in what I think what would make a better pose for this character...

Anyways...If I ever comment again on any of your sprites I'll stick with words...

Cheers!

- Tried to fix his pose...which looked unnatural...
- Made his head a bit smaller...His head was to big...
- Added shading to his suit....
- Changed some facial features such as the red lips, unless he's supposed to wear   lipstick they were far to red...

I know it's not in your style but I'm sure it points out some issues that bordered me....

I doubt there is a tutorial on pixeling mountains....For me the best tutorial is to study real mountains either real mountains or by photograph....But that doesn't only count for drawing mountains...drawing mountains isn't realy that hard if you have good reference and watch closely what they look like....I drew these in only under 10 minutes....I'm willing to do a step by step tutorial if you'd appreciate...just gimme a yell...but it's probably pretty obvious...since simplicity is trump on these....

A quick edit :

- Defined the mountains more by adding highlights and shadows
- Tried to make the sky look a bit more interresting, since it was just plane blue....

Hope this helps
Cheers!

So is anyone gonna help me or not?

Nah....I better not....I happen to have a directory full of the coolest Sam sprites/animations and custom Sam speechfiles...I rather keep them to myself so I can watch them all by myself...
No but seriously...If you realy are the artist you think you are (The one that should have won the last Sprite jam, one of the best jams ever) go make your own sprites...it would be a shame to rip sprites for someone with your skills... ;D

John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucia and Al DiMeola - Mediterrean Sundance (Fridaynight In SF)
Dave Brubeck Quartet - Take 5
Jimmy Hendrix - Redhouse
Miles Davis - Bye Bye Blackbird
Robert Johnson - Crossroad (Had to mention him)
Black Sabbath - The Wizard
Johnny Cash - When the man comes around
Stan Getz & Astrud Gilberto - Girl from Ipanema :)  (cheesy but best elevator song around)
Charles Mingus - Haitan Fight Song
Nina Simone - Sinnerman

...no specific order...

Here's an attempt at the stairs :

Drew some reference lines in red to get the perspective right...on second thought I think my edit is still a bit off perspective...but I hope it still gives you a clue on how to fix this issue....

Critics' Lounge / Re: Man in a cow siute!

What kind of crap is this?...first Tanker asks "How can a cow have horns?" Klauz gives a completely sensible answer in wich tanker replies "I think we should talk about the animations and forget about the cows."
then we see some excellent suggestions/edit by MrMasse wich seems totaly neglected by Tanker....according to his latest frontview walky....
anyways...as for the comment...go with MrMasse and add some seems and the udder...
The arms on the frontview look like static matchsticks attached to the front of his body (suit?)...put them on the side and animate them corresponding to the legs...same goes for the backview...would be nice if we'd see some of the armsway....
rest me to say...put at least as much effort in animating/drawing ur sprites as replying to your own posts and you'll get good results....
sorry for being harsh...
Cheers!
