Oow...I'm sorry about the delay guys...
I see people have posted some pretty good sprites....to bad 2 of 'em, though I really like them don't meet up with the rules...The family guy sprite is just hilareous just as the drunk guy...great sprite!
So that means I have to choose between AlexisVale, Rincewind and YakSpit...
Though it's not the most original sprite I like Yakspits cuppa coffee the most...So Congrats to you Yakspit!
You can start a new sprite jam!

Again...sorry for this delayed post....

Cheers!

nothing wrong with this walkcycle...it is in fact pretty convincing walkcycle with loads of character in it. I can't wait to see his frontview walkcycle!
I'd say move on to the next stage...

Hey guys,

This weeks theme is :

Your Favourite drug

Size : 100*100
Colors : 256

So a sprite of the drug that you dig most...can't be to hard ;)) As long as you are addicted to it it's accepted. Can be anything from sex to chocolate to heroine or even your computer ;))

So be creative and have fun !

cheers!

Pretty good!! The wig is a marvelous idea...really gives the lord character! I'd say #3 of the wigs fits best. Though I like the first wig attempt (#6) it seems a bit odd on his head...

this sprite is getting better and better....no worries bout stealing my hand...that's why I posted it ;)) Anyways i'd say his legs flip back to fast add a frame and it probably looks even better...

cheers!

ps. What happened to his thumb in idle pose ? is it supposed to be hidden in his pocket or just hidden behind his palm ? or maybe just cut off ? :))

YAAY! ow btw AGA...that 1337speak translator thingy does the opposite thing as my elitespeak thing...ofcourse I was aware of the fact of that there is a program like 1337speak translators that's why I decided to make fun of it by making this icon ;))

Now do I start the new spritejam comp ?

Cheers!

Pretty good cycles I must say...only thing that bothers me are the feet of the death sprite...in his static pose ya can see his feet but when he's walking ya cant see 'em....and I'm not to keen on the grey outlines on mr death...which is a problem if you use pure black as the color of his clothes...you could lighten it a bit down and use black outlines instead...just an idea...Other than that...Good work!

HAH! pretty cewl entries guys...hope to see more soon!

How about not doing a christmas related background blitz...

Theme : Circus built on top of a mountain.

Since this is the non-christmas comp. xmas related items are prohibited...such as xmas trees, santas, ..and most important NO snow.
Those are the only restricions...so choose a size that you prefer same goes for colors...

Well that's about it. Have fun making your background and I hope to see some cool entries.

Cheers !

I reckon the individual objects look pretty good on itself (like that palmtree is a beauty just as the woods and the house) but they rather look like a collage of objects than one picture to me...
You could add some darker shadows...some dropshadows might work as well. Also the shading on the island self are blury while the shading on the tree and clouds for instance are sharp...I'd go for the sharper shading...
Apart from that it's a good background...keep up the good work...

I hope to finish Crossroad around march 2004
#139
my vote goes to mr Frisby...I like the simple look of it pretty much...
#140
Besides crossroad I'll be doing the gfx for a platform game engine a friend of mine is coding, that's what the ninja is for...So to bad...there won't be ninja's in crossroad...But hey there will be pantomime players in crossroad !!
As for crossroad progress...I think I'm about 70 % ...But it's realy nice to hear people are allready interrested in playing it...

Anyways....Cheers!
