Candle, that's strange that you can't use inventory items on each other?Ã,  So you can't
Spoiler
Take the stick with the underwear on it and use it with the rock in your inventory?

Once you have the necklace, closely examine back wall.Ã,  There is an item imbedded on it.Ã,  You need to use this item with something to further progress in the game.

Just finished Quimby Quest, and it rocked!  Great job skuttleman!  I found some of the puzzles a bit challenging, but I fought my way through eventually finishing with 370/375 points.  The ending was pretty funny as well.  Overall a big thumbs up, especially considering this was your first effort developing in AGS I presume?

Okay, now that I finished the game, I can say it was pretty decent.  Honestly, the story made little sense to me though.  But the puzzles were fairly challenging (library one had me going until your hint), and the graphics were quite competent.  I noticed you said there were 4-5 bonus puzzles to solve...I only saw one of them.  Bottom line, Koffee Krisis was a good effort!  :)

Thank you!  That was just the hint I needed to finish the game.  8)

Thanks for posting.  Let me go over my thought process for this puzzle and maybe you can direct me to where I'm going wrong.

Spoiler
Okay, so there are 3 runes and each rune has a color associated with it.  The red book shows me that the top rune is red in color and the middle rune is green in color.  The green book shows me that the bottom rune is blue in color, and the other figure means nothing.  The blue book is the hoax I presume?  The white book shows the order the runes are supposed to go in.  It gives the first 3 columns for each row, but the 4th and 5th column are missing, but it gives the color of the final column.  I've tried several things, but the one I feel is most right is projecting the color pattern to figure out the two missing columns for each row.  I have the rows as:

red green blue red green blue
blue red green blue red green
red blue green red blue green

This is not working though so I must be missing something.

So far so good Akatosh, although the game isn't making too much sense to me thus far.  :P  I'm guessing it's supposed to be an "out there" experience.  Can anyone hop over to the hints forum though cause I'm stuck.

I've gotten past this part, but I did download the updated version of the game.  Once you look at the manual, a new screen pops up and you have to figure out the correct order to push five buttons to activate the hack/pickaxe.

I'm stuck at a point a little after that.

Spoiler
I'm in the library and have gotten four books from the shelves and put them on the projector.  I can start up the computer the cultist gave me but I can't figure out the proper way to cast a spell.  Help anyone?

Hi Candle,

Nice job on your latest game.  The graphics are great as well as the sound effects/music.  I had a bit of a hard time figuring out where some of the objects were,

.  I felt that puzzle was a bit unfair.

Also, I may have found a bug.
Spoiler
I get the light turned on and when I click on the light switch again it prompts me for the passcode, just like with the laptop.

Actually, I finally figured it out.

Spoiler
At the part where he starts chasing you in the house.  Go left to the kitchen and click on the rectangular piece of wood that is over the sink to the left of the fridge.  This will prompt the main character to finish the fight.

It was a decent game, although quite buggy.  Keep working on your graphic and animation skills and you will no doubt be putting out some good games in the future.  ;)

Just finished playing part 3.  I love this series, as each one has some very fiendish puzzles.  8)  Looking forward to part 4 for sure.

I also enjoyed playing through Anticipating Murder as well echo lspace's thoughts that it makes little sense to default to the "speak" icon when inside the inventory.  That was annoying to constantly have to change it.  Could there be a sequel given the murdering wife was only serving 5 years in jail?  :D

Omi:

Spoiler
you need to go to the right and position yourself near the light switch next to your bedroom door.  When the killer gets in the room, turn the switch off and make it dark.  Then hit him with the baseball bat.

I'm stuck a bit later on.

Spoiler
The killer is chasing me again and I run into my house.  He says I'm trapped and takes off his mask so I know who he is.  He then continues chasing me.  I don't know what to do at this point as I've been all over.  I tried flipping the light switch off again but the game freezes up when I do that.  I can throw a rock at him which just slows him down.

Finished the game.  Not bad, but there were quite a few bugs!  I can understand bugs in a MAGS game considering how little time there is to develop, let alone troubleshoot.  ;D

Fisher...

Spoiler
Don't worry about the construction site.  You can't enter it in the game.  The answer to freeing Ed's daughter is right in front of you.  What happens when you try to "use" her?

So where does one find the crowbar?Ã,  I've been looking forever for it, and I assume it's in the first room somewhere or outside the window but I just can't see it!

Oh and Fisher:

Spoiler
You can walk down from your office to escape the first room.

Thanks so much Rosie!  I totally missed getting the rope and bar.  I got to where you are.  After getting through the door, a little movie plays and some credits roll by, then some text appears that gives the impression that the game is not over.  Yet the screen is all black and I can't seem to do anything else.  So...I guess that's it!

Hints & Tips / Red Door 1

Hello, I'm a bit stuck on this new game.  Has anyone finished the game and able to help?

Spoiler
I currently have the food, cutter, shards, hanger, prison outfit, scrap of cloth, needle, and a combination chloroform/posion/pillow thing.  It seems
like I've tried every item on all available hotspots, but I very likely am missing something.

I don't know either Artphreak as I've tried all items with all available hotspots in desperation but am obviously missing something.  Heh, between this game and Infinite Monkeys, I think I'll be playing for awhile yet.  ;D
