Imagine being overcome by lust for your comrades, yet unable to kiss them. You'll be stuck betwixt forces of attraction and revulsion.

Either that or they'd end up with some sort of fart fetish... ;D

Haha, that's hilarious. It must of taken a very repressed mind to dream that up...

The sooner the civilized world can overthrow the governments of all these Muslim heathens, convert all their people to Christianity and turn them into safe "trading" partners the better. Best for our interests, best for our economies. So yes, the war in Iraq was completely justified.

For anyone who may be interested: I just wanted to announce a little "interactive" music project/composition I've put together.

DESCRIPTION:
The piece is essentially a collaborative jam between the original composer of the various segments(me), the random choices of the computer and the input of the listener/player.
The listener presses buttons to alter the music in various ways, interactively exploring the piece and discovering its possibilities.
I don't really want to give away too many details as discovering what is happening and how it is working is part of the whole experience.

Week 2

IT'S MUSIC NOT MATH HOMEWORK!

Treat music as an art and not as math work.
So I take it maths has no place in art and isn't an artform itself then? Heh... OK.

Nor do they want to hear a rap song with a beat, a bass line and lyrics about female dogs and garden implements.
Hmmm... actually that sounds like it could be a pretty good song to me right there.

But who is actually trying to ban Christmas? As far as I'm aware it's the work of "politically correct" ex-Christians with bizarre guilt complexes. Morons that are acting on behalf of what they *assume* repressed minority groups want. While in reality these people not of the dominant culture/faith aren't in the slighest offended by our Christmas celebrations.

Make it interesting. Personally, I'd try to argue that criminals have the right to shoot cops in self defence. That'd make for a lively debate at least.

If you're into doing music, or even listening, the M-Audio "Revolution" cards are pretty nice. You can find them pretty cheap if you look around online.
Otherwise the Audigy cards are good for gaming (the Live series is older, still fine for games too though.)

I think you need to describe exactly what sort of program you want to make before anyone can help you.

Wow, I hadn't realized it had been banned in Australia. About typical for this country, though.  ::)

From: http://www.gameplanet.co.nz/mag.dyn/News/8443.html
"Leisure Suit Larry Banned in Australia

After banning Manhunt in Australia two weeks ago, the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) has struck again, refusing classification for Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude.

Published by Vivendi Universal Games, the latest Larry game sees the rebirth of the classic adventure series published by Sierra On-Line in the 1980's and '90's, and follows the "extra curriculur" antics of Larry Lovage, nephew of the original games' protagonist Larry Laffer.

The OFLC's report said the game contains "obscured and/or implied sexual activity and obscured and partial nudity involving stylised, animated characters." These depictions occur in "full-motion video sequences" and include instances such as Larry receiving below-screen fellatio from Koko. "Sucking sounds are heard," said the OFLC.

It is now illegal to import, rent, or sell the game in Australia.

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude is due for release in New Zealand in early November, but has yet to be rated by the NZ OFLC. Fortunately this country has a more enlightened rating system than our neighbours across the ditch, and the title is likely to simply get an R16 or R18 rating rather than being banned here."

Neh, I don't mind who gets elected. In the end, there will always be people complaing about how bad the PM is. I havn't been on this earth all that long, but I don't know many leaders of countries that arn't generally disliked. Maybe thats just coming from the current political climate with Bush and Howard.
Really imho, Howard hasn't done that bad a job. I'm sick of all these propaganda stuff happening, especially at uni. I go there to study, not to have opinions thrown at me every day.

I'm not sure who I'm gonna vote. Not that it really mattters but I think I'm gonna put the Liberals and Labor both down the bottom. Oh and along with the Greens and whoever else that I don't really like.

Oh... I think I will put Howard above Latham tho. Not sure why...

Sounds like a fantastic argument for making voting in this country non-compulsory.Ã,  :P

A nickname from back in school. A friend named me this after a conversation about synthesizers in which he kept referring to them as "modulators." So after then he started calling me modgeulator. I originally thought it was a pretty stupid nickname, but then somehow here I am today using it...

I'd be interested in doing some music for this.
Some little sample pieces of my work:

However, I wonder if using well-known classical pieces like the Valkyries track would actually be more effective for this game then originals? I just think having the Ride of the Valkyries music playing in the background of this game would be hilarious. But I'm still interested in helping out if I can...
