Pretty crap, but it was good practice.

Brute
You are 42% Rational, 42% Extroverted, 85% Brutal, and 85% Arrogant.

Meh, sounds about right. I'LL KILL YOU ALL!

QuoteYou also possibly fling your own poo.

Really? Well, if you say so.

QuoteKing Kong best represents the gorilla-version of your personality. Emotional, introverted (King Kong was isolated on his own island, after all), brutal, and arrogant (proud to be the largest ape on Earth!), Kong would probably get along very well with you, seeing as how you share many of the same traits.

So you're saying I am an oversized monkey?

QuoteAside from, you know, all the fur.

Oh, ok.

Is the random banner also going to be put on the bigbluecup home page?

Sorry if it seems I am "hijacking" this thread at all, but if you clicked the right mouse button on that title screen, would it change cursor? How can you change this?

I think his head looks a bit like a monkey's. Maybe if you defined the facial features more with shading and rounded his chin a bit that would help. If you don't understand I could do a a paint over.

I just wanted to say that this is a brilliant idea, and that all of the banners are excellent! ;D I like the way that the cell is overhanging the blue in the background in LJUBI's banner. Sektor's is also great.
I think that rotating was the best way to go, as it shows more games rather than just one set for however long.

If I get time I might throw a banner together, but don't hold your breath.

You could upload and link to the cutscene as if it were a game.

I would like to put forward Bob Goes Home

for the following categories.

Best Story: It's a fairly good idea, just maybe not a big focus in the game.

Best Puzzles: The game uses the background well to implement idealistic puzzles into the game.

Best Non-player character: The Janitor. You can just see the expression in his face!

Best Dialogue Writing: Well thought out dialogue written to be humourous, but still intelligent.

Best Short Game: The only reason it is here because there are not many short games that get entered in this category. And, well, someone has to make up the numbers.

If you play ProgZmax's Mind's Eye, just imagine it with the name changed to Bob Goes Home and that is what it's like. := :P

Hopefully, Bob Goes Home Deluxe will be entered in all the same categories (maybe even more) next year!

"Your bloody arm fell off!"
"You're just chicken!"

-WALK to top of screen

I say string them all together, so you sound like a rockstar....

My mum kept her last name and added a "-" then added dad's last name. It works for her.

Critics' Lounge / Re: WIP - ship deck
Sun 08/01/2006 21:50:15
I think it looks good as it is, but a bit more detail in the floor, I don't know if it is wood, or what. ??? Also if you could bring the box on the left into view a bit more, and mybe have something on the right, like and outdoor table and chairs.
Hope I helped.

Will this be animated?
I think at the bottom of the ship some waves or something so that it looks like it has been moving like ScottDoom was talking about.

I used object.IgnoreWalkbehind in the Before Player Enters Screen section of the script and it works fine. It was a stationary object and there is no problem now.
Thank you both. ;D
