Decided to play again after a long time and now I'm stuck with Claudia.  Clicked everywhere I could think of.

So, I am now playing as Guido and he's naked with the smiley covering everything. I have had him try every building, every door, and talk to everyone and I can't figure out what to do with him? I'm stuck. Please help!

After running Windows Update and rebooting I can now play RON games again! Thank you!!!

Windows 10 ...  All games are affected. Your workaround allowed game to load but it refused to respond to my mouse clicks. :-(  My mouse works fine everywhere else.

Could you tell what operating system do you use? Also, does this happen only with latest games, or any random AGS game from database? If the former, which games exactly have you tried?

Not the guaranteed workaround: the latest version of AGS allows player to continue even if mouse was not properly detected. You could try downloading the archive from here: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/releases/finals/AGS-3.4.0-P1/AGS-3.4.0-P1.zip, take acwin.exe, copy it to the game's folder and run it instead of game's exe. That won't not guarantee that the mouse will actually work, but may be worth checking out.

I can't figure out why the latest games will not play. I get an error message saying I need a mouse attached. I DO have a mouse attached. Is there something I need to download or a setting on my laptop I need to change? Please help as I was really looking forward to playing the newest RON games.

I have the hammer and the laptop in my inventory. I've gone back and tried talking to everyone. Tried using the laptop everywhere to go to IMDB, nothing works. Tried visiting every possible location. I'm completely stuck! Please help. Thanks.

Nevermind the following...I couldn't find my inventory. I'm used to AGS games having it at the top of the screen. Once I hit Ctrl-I...everything was fine. Fun game anyway.


Ok, I'm completely confused. I look at those books over and over and over and all it ever says is that it's my sci-fi novels. I can't pick them up, and looking at them does nothing. I am unable to pick anything up in either room and I can't get out of the house. Is it a bug??

Look at the books in the cabinet next to the window. First you see books. Look again and you'll see a science fiction book. Look a third time and you'll remember Asimov's story "Mirror Image".

Thanks, I've been wandering around for quite awhile now, done everything I can do, just waiting for the hose to be usable. Do you remember how many times you had to wander between screens before it changed? It's a bit frustrating and boring waiting like this!!!

put the yeast covered hose in the fox filled moat. They bite holes in it. Then you can attach it to the tap on the guard hut. I feel so stupid, now. lol

I'm still stuck with the whole guard problem.

I can't attach the hose to the tap because the tap is still frozen. I can't get rid of the first guard no matter what I try. He just keeps kicking me out and I have to start over at the moat. I've blocked up the sink with the teabag and the water is coming out brown. I can't go thru the next door...what do I do now? I'm lost! I have the yeast covered hose but it says it needs to be modified before it can be put on the thawed tap. What do I need to do to modify it?

I try combining the coveralls and plunger but it keeps saying he sees no point in putting them on now, no matter where I try to put them on. I can't combine anything in my inventory with the sink in the kitchen. Also, I can't figure out how to unthaw the hose. Have I missed something important?

I have dropped all the lettuces and coin, pulled the curtain down, hit the guard and it just says that people can see from different directions, but the coin is still there. I've tried a few times, using the hints from this forum. Nothing is working. Please help! Is there something else I need to do? I made the rabbit monster and talked to the snake already. I can't seem to do anything else.

Hi, I've read all the old threads and haven't found the answer I need.

I painted the water pistol black, but still can't go through the door, it still says I'm unarmed. Also, how do I get the keycard from the sleeping guard? I'm totally stuck. I can't figure out what I could have missed? What more do I need to do to the water pistol to get through that door? Also, how do I figure out what the "stuff" is in the one crate so I can take it? Thanks.

Is there a trick to beating the robot in the church fight after visiting the monk's room?
This really is a great game. The puzzles are challenging without being impossible. Very enjoyable. Now, how do I beat this thing? lol


Nevermind! I finally beat it. Hilarious ending. I sure hope there's another Barn Runner game in the works?

Thanks! I always miss something obvious, lol. At the end, I got to McCoy and then it said "I guess I'll never get to Palm Springs" and something about dying thirsty. Is that the only ending or could I have acheived a better one?
