So, its eventually painful and can fuck up your liver. But, it can lead to hallucinatiopns and therefore you could get high.
So, why is it legal? Which is worse, mushrooms or nutmeg?

I saw What the Buck talk about that gas-balloon-thingny kids get high on and I'm seriously grossed out. I guess you have to be pretty desperate to attempt something like that.

I swear my cat gets high, she licks the sticky side of tape and also used to lick off old peeling varnish from one of my old chairs - she does it frantically like she's addicted to it. I always have to keep an eye open for that cat, she scares me...  :o

But on topic. If something makes you high, it is drugs. If not, then what is it? Is 3 packs of nutmeg with strong alcohol a drug or not, that is the ultimate question.

On a personal note,I dont like most drugs. I can undertand the apeal, and I have been tempted, and I admit I do drink sometimes. But what I don't like about the harder drugs, (aka most drugs illeagal in everywhere but where the dutch come from) because well, its cheating. It gives you a pleasure boost, you really didn't earn. And in so doing unbalnce your perceptions of how much work one is willing to do to get how much pleasure. If all it takes, to feel temporerly on top of the world is to take a pill, then how is say going to a movie or been with your girlfriend/boyfriend/ animal of preferance, going to compare?
Like I said its cheating.

That is so true, but todays people are full of crap anyway so I don't see the difference. There are so many good and bad things in our world that argueing over the usage of shrooms is just pointless. Some use it, some don't, whats the big difference. Oh and man who invented LSD and experimented with it a lot, lived over 100.

Oh the forum drama!

Well, actually what lot of you don't see is the actual process of doing quality recordings. Usually distributors etc have their own studio. Yes, band plays the music, but mixers make it sound good. An no, I don't think a 14 year old could do proffesional mastering, that sounds right on just about every device its played. If they can do it on home computer (which I highly doubt), then its fine, but its their decision. So why bands don't do home producing if 14 year olds can even do it?
I am also shure that good distribution costs lots of money too. But that does not excuse the amount of money they rip off from musicians. It should be at least 50-50%

I so thought of doing this, unfortunately all my friends turned down the coming. Besides I had tons of school stuff to do.

Maybe next year I'll participate.

Yeah, they didn't work for me too. Only things that worked were documentaries, and that was probably the only place where I could watch them... I loved documentaries section.

At least I found a new site with divx quality movies.

I liked board games, but I've never been much of a monopoly fan. I have never played Risk though...

I remember board game called "Circus", it was just rolling the dice and moving the button forward according to the numbers that came... Winner was whoever got the end first. Yeah, sounds pretty boring, but there were some usual fall three steps back, etc turnbacks also Oh, and there were lots of versions of it with different themes, like "Picking mushrooms" etc.

Another simple board game was "A trip around the world" where you had to get six (I may be mistaken, don't remember exactly) buttons to home while making a full circle on board.

But my favourite was the one that someone made AGS version of recently. Chinese checkers, well, I just called it "Jumping".

And there was one different game too, where you had to toss (actually push the disks to the ground with another disc so they would fly off with force) little plastic disks into small circles. I called it "Fleas".

Oh the nostalgy. Now I am just stuck with chess only, and not very good at it either... I've been a loser all my life, my brother always beat me in that when I was little.


You know, a wonderful idea struck me while reading this thread. Why not make an adventure game as a board game? Next MAGS: make an adventure game using cardboard and felt-pens/pencils/whatever. The coolest one gets tested in Mittens or something.

Ah, don't you know that animal fleas don't live on humans??? Exactly what type of doctor did you see? Different thing with louses though. And as far as I know, hedgehog fleas live only on hedgehogs.

And ofcourse you won't find any fleas in your house, because there probably aren't any...

My cat is completely indoor animal also, but she has had fleas couple of times. Even she has completely white fur, they were quite hard to spot. We only aknowledged the flea situation after someone saw some black grind (flea shit) on her neck.
Thing with fleas is, that they usualy stay in the neck area, you should look there. And I won't trust any tablets or such kind of medicine that influences cat. I would use a cream. Best way is to wash her ofcourse, so the fleas gather in some dry spot and can be picked off.

You really don't have any experience with animals, do you, city noof? I hope you won't kill or paralize your cat with those chemicals. And lose the collar.

And fleas can be brought inside just with your boots or whatever... Maybe some eggs dropped off from some tomcat and your boot picked it up.
