But best wishes to all the new birthdaypeople!

That rock thing reminds me the ages of Stoneball in Estonian TV, was great! ~50-70 kg stones were used as balls, scull cracks, broken arms and legs were usual things. (Its from a comedy show, if you didn't get it)

Respect the dead! Draw your own graphics.

Real news is all about war, death and gun crime.

Light-hearted news is what we need more of to help cheer everyone up on this miserable planet.

And so the planet dooms in the mydst of our cheers...

If people actually knew more, they wouldn't be doing lots of things.

General Discussion / Re: Help! XP went mad!
Thu 03/05/2007 13:51:37
My XP is slowly dying too. IE, the main browser, both the Internet and Computer, to be percise. Taskbar freezes, start menu does not open, everything must be opened manually from folders I have on desktop (Luckily i hadn't emptied my desktop, there is no my computer icon etc) nad programs can only be switched via alt+tab. IE as Internet browser does work, but it takes an awful time to load, it freezes for 10 minutes or so. And EVERYTHING is getting slower each day.
Now I only use Mozilla and alt+tab. Gosh, that Microsoft crap has very short life, I don't want to format every month, I keep important installments on my harddrive!

General Discussion / Re: British TV

I agree, british humar is good.
I am not shure if french is better or not, they are both good, share the 1'st and 2'nd place. Some really good movies come there. But I have never seen french TV shows though.
The third is probably Netherlands, just because I love the movie "Rembrandt"  :)

Piracy will never die! Anarchy to fuckin' Earth, man!

Looks great, except the trees outside, they look too solid and lack of suitable focus distance. Maybe the upper corner under ceiling, in the left, is too proportional too. Some scratches would make it good probably, to break the ruler-like edges.

Ok, I went oldschool this time. Kept it nice and subtle, I think intrusive sounds are more suitable for large open areas, not for stuffed place like this. And i would guess that bg is somewhere in the game low-midpoint, usual peaceful clicking. And what is more suitable for nature than sounds of nature, natural sounds?

Here is my go:

It can be looped.

I am sure it scares most guys initially, I personly am a lonley nerd who has only asked out ONE woman in his life, and was rejected. check my profile to see how emberessing that really is. As for my sexuality, I have been turned on by guys, so I guess that makes me Bisexual, as well as been a bit of a tran,a skirt much more comfy then most pants.

Lol. I don't remember that I have tried a skirt but indeed I believe it is more comfortable than pants. It is a good feeling when dick can hang freely without any pants squeezing and air can slip through easily.
But wearing a skirt does not make man a transvestite, scottish men wear skirts too. Transvestite is more like a man person who really wants to be a woman.

I think black lines fit better that Medicals edit, otherwise the dark frontline gets sort of separated.

Marriage is a part of many religions. So, by marrying, people accept the religious rules... well, at least thats how it is meant. People who don't have the belief in those rules, can just live together or find some another religion what allows them to marry.
But yeah, today, you can marry without church, you just sign some law papers and thats all, so... is it marriage or  there is another name for it?

Ok, I meant realistic textures with pixelsharp edges. Retrospective is ok with me, thats something called style. Composition is important aspect of style.

Medical, at least say the edges need some antialiasing. Realistic textures and pixelsharp edges suck, especially in low res.

Why is it normal to parade around in small swimming briefs, or a bikini suit (in places like the beach or a hotel pool), but to hang around in you underwear (which may very well cover a larger portion of your body) is grounds for whispering and pointing?
I have exactly the same question. And I have been to store etc with swimming pants btw, I was not kicked out or anything.

Oh boy, I had an idea for this for a long time. I hope I have enough will and skill to enter this one!

Do not ruin it with textures. Low res is for retro  and therefore doesn't support textures. textures make it ugly. Especially considering the fact that you probably cannot draw photorealistic (texture) quality sprites for it.

Personally, I don't like ripped graphics or wide spread resource packs. For me, characters are part of the story and their appearance gives them personality which is, again, part of the story that is unique. So, using pre-existing gfx puts the story and originality down a little. But that is just me, so...
