I really enjoyed it! It's a great game. Thank you.

Enjoyed this game, it was hilarious, thanks! Good fun.

I have some bugs for you:

Spoiler

Once you've picked up the monkey island CD, you can use the drawers again and another CD appears in its place.

After converting your cousin, you can leave, return and then use the monkey island CD again on his computer to convert him again and get another blood sample.

After giving the tic tacs in the jar to Tito, you can talk to the big assistant again about drugs and he'll give you another jar.

hope to see more of that!

Found a couple of small corrections:

When you examine Ollie after you've stopped her playing the ractive, it still tells you she is playing the ractive, both at the subway and outside the pizza shop.

If you put the board over the mousehole and then do the birthday thing, the bot gets repaired, but then with the board lying on the floor, if you do the birthday thing again, he doesn't get repaired until you try and grab the green chip. I assume the repair bot should be able to come out still and repair him right away?

Just small things, it's an excellent game with great characters and ideas.

Congratulations and HURRY UP AND MAKE ANOTHER ONE!! ;D  :=

I second that, would love to see more games from you.

I couldn't find the game in the main database? Maybe you could add it so that we could give it ratings? Thanks!

It's a little known fact that Pythagorus was a dung shoveller.

While shovelling dung one day, a sudden thought struck him.

He ran to the guy who made him shovel dung all day and proclaimed, "I just realised something, if you add the squares of the lengths of the two shorter sides of a triangle, it will always be equal to the square of the length of the longer side!"

The guy thought for a minute, then replied, "Does that help you shovel dung?"

"Not really..."

"Well shut up then."

Great game! I really enjoyed it, well put together and very funny. And gross! Haha. A very nice style indeed.

Thank you! Highly recommended for everyone to play.

Some minor points for thoust perusal:

Spoiler

If you talk to the bully guard after drugging him, he wakes up again and talks to you, I assume this wasn't meant to happen?

The death sequences are very funny indeed! But once you've died that way and accidentally end up dying the same way... there is a lot of dialogue for some of them, and being able to press Esc to skip would be nice.

I agree, this is a good quality game. I'm glad you have put it back up, I have enjoyed playing it. There will always be an abusive moron wherever you go, they are best to be ignored as their opinion holds no value.

I'm glad to see you are reworking the translation, I did find some of it hard to understand. When the English is cleaned up I would love to give this another play through!

Spoiler

OK I played it through again to see what I did :)

Once you have got the green liquid from the pantry left of the kitchen, you have to look at your recipe sheet again (from the book in the library) and Engel works out it is walnut stain. Then you put the water in the bowl as you have done, then you put in the walnut stain, then the gum arabic that the giant gives you after giving him his lighter, and the recipe is complete!

Maybe I'm playing a different version to you, as you seem to be saying the giant gave you the walnut stuff! If it still doesn't work we'll see if we can figure out what's happened.

Thanks for your help Stefano, I'll give it a try!

As for where you are stuck, I think I can help as I've made some progress in that area:

Spoiler
You need another ingredient to add after the water but before the walnut paste. Again not really very clear, I did this by random trial.

I am totally stuck, if anyone could give me a hint please as to what do next that would be cool!

Spoiler

I've got 2 scraps of pictures, one of which I've managed to put on the quadrants in the attic, the other one won't seem to be put onto them. I think I've found all the rooms including the hidden one in the attic and down the pipe, although I haven't got to the left of the giant if that's possible.

The only things I can see that can be done next is the lump in the carpet in one of the rooms, he says he needs a solvent but nothing I have works. Also it seems I need more picture scraps for the quadrants, or maybe I can make the laptop work. I have also copied down the strange signs in the attic but have no idea what to do with it, I got a bunch of other items like matches and cologne and constructed engine I haven't used yet. I can't open the little wooden box. I think I've been in all the rooms unless there are more hard to reach ones. I've really run out of ideas! A little hint please? :)

I think that situations where you cannot make progress anymore should generally not be in these kind of adventure games. They will cause frustration in most players, especially if you don't know that you have entered such a situation, and leads to either giving the game up or resorting to a walkthrough which are the two things you really want to avoid when designing or playing a game.

I think the only way they are acceptable is if it is made clear to the player that they are entering such a situation when they do a particular action, and ask them do they really want to do this as space-time will be anomolied or something, like in oblivion when you kill an important NPC. You can carry on for the fun of it but you know you cannot progress as normal. So a warning window comes up, and it says if you do this then you are screwed... are you sure you want to? If you click yes it should autosave anyway incase you change your mind.

But I would say that unless you put a lot of effort into the above 'losing' scenarios, they aren't gonna be much fun anyway and it will be wasted effort that could be used to make the game better in general so I'd say just avoid these situations altogether.

I also totally agree that you should aim for a game experience where you only save and load when you are starting or quitting a game session, you shouldn't have to keep doing it manually for fear of losing or missing things, this detracts from the gaming experience.

My brother and his friend have uploaded podcasts to youtube, based on talking for a while about various subjects in a ridiculous way for maximum hilarity.

If you want to check them out visit the website below, it has a list of all the podcasts they have done, they upload a new one each Sunday.

www.rocktank.com

It contains strong language and themes some people may dislike, so please don't go there if you're easily offended.

Enjoy!

I am really loving this game! The style is original, adorable and addictive. The animations are great and really bring the game to life. The puzzles are just about right, and the music is excellent. It is also a really solid game with no bugs that I have found. Bravo all round! It really makes me smile and laugh :)

I am saddened by what I read. I can only hope the other people who read this and who haven't posted will go away and actually think about this. I won't be returning to this thread.
