I still can't download it no matter what I do, thanks for the advice neon, but I just keep getting that error message and no download no matter how I try to do it.

Thanks for asking though, I don't understand why I'm the only one who can't seem to get it :( Oh well.

Thanks for trying, seems like I'm the only one with this problem :(

I've tried it using firefox and IE and I get the same error.

EDIT: It also says on the screen

Your download has failed. You have an invalid session set. Click here to try your download again.

I don't know what invalid session set means though.

This looks really good.

I'm having trouble downloading the game however, I clicked the link here and then the main download one (for voices included), and the filefront site won't let me download the file... I get the following box:

X6
The server replies that you don't have permissions to download this file.
Details: HTTP/1.1 403 Access Forbidden

Can anyone help me please?

Thanks.

Really liked this game, thank you. I enjoyed the story, the multiple paths, the simple to use interface and the humour. Hope to see more from you!

Marco: If you're on the part I think you're on:

Spoiler

Go to level 3
Go through the left door
Use the cycler and go through the left door
Go down the ladder
Walk into the gap between the crates on your left
Walk left to the end of the screen
[close]

If that doesn't work, please explain exactly what's happened so far in the story and what you've done and I'll try and help you out :)

It looks interesting, I like it.

I must agree, I really hate mazes :( whether there's a map or not, they just aren't any fun at all. I would suggest not having them.

Edit: Oh yeah, and being able to die... I don't like that either, I don't think it's what point 'n' click is about.

Looks promising though, I look forward to trying it out.

Good luck with completing it!

Hi there, I like this game, it seems fun.

I agree with those above, the drunken sailor remix is cool, but it should be used at particular points and not continually as it does get annoying on a loop.

I personally like the names of hotspots to come up when you're over them to know you've found something important, I think it makes games more playable.

Good luck with the project, I look forward to playing it!

I wouldn't say easy puzzles are a bad thing. In too many games I'm reduced to either randomly using everything on everything or reading a walkthrough, and that is just no fun. Often the solution I read i know I wouldn't have ever worked out by logic, and that is a sign of a bad game.

If this for example was going to be a longer game, the kind of puzzles you have would be perfect for getting someone into the game, then they could be built up in complexity as the game goes on. But I just hate stupid obscure puzzles, and I have a pet hate for button pressing and number guessing puzzles, they are often really obscure anyway and detract from the atmosphere of the game.

Keep up the good work!

I agree I would love to see future games from you, this is an excellent first game.

I'll try and help!

Spoiler
If you mean what I think you mean, you need to go into your inventory and use the hand icon on the suicide note, Ben will turn it round. When you then examine it you see there is something faintly on the back. You then need to go grab a pencil from the police guy at the start of the police station and use it on the note to make the symbol appear clearly.

I hope this is what you meant, I thought you had to do this to complete the game though! So I'm a bit confused :)

This was a fun game, I liked it, thanks!

I've tried fiddling about with the acsetup.cfg in notepad, but I can't figure out what I need to add/change to make it run in window, don't have the technical knowledge. Anyone know please? :)

Looks very nice! I'd like to play it.

I would suggest changing the font, I think it lets down the otherwise nice visuals.

I have downloaded the prologue file and that all went well, but for some reason my
computer cannot run the 'full screen mode' of games, it says signal out of range... so I always set these games to run in window instead. For this one however, I couldn't find the usual winsetup file to do this with.

Can anyone offer any help please? Could a winsetup be included?

Thanks :)

It's looking good, I look forward to this :)

Excellent game, I thoroughly enjoyed, thankyou :)

I did find a little bug though

Spoiler
After you have made the hookshot-cannon thing and fired it up to the metal bar on the beach, you can go back to the hut and pick up another lighter and bottle of pills.

I like this game, it's really cool, I'm just having major problems with it.

As noted above I get no response from most of the actions I try to do, and the character walks extremely slowly. I can't seem to find any way of choosing my action except for keep bringing up the bar at the top of the screen, is there some other way as this takes ages to do anything?

I downloaded the fix: fix Saw2.rar and put it in the Saw 2 folder, it doesn't seem to do anything, what does it do? Do I have to do something else to make it work?

Thanks for any help.

Edit: Not to worry, I've finished it now. Very nice game, but I agree the translation does detract from the otherwise fine puzzles and atmosphere. I highly recommend getting someone with English as their first language to tidy up the dialougue for this and future games.

Good work!

Thoroughly enjoyed this, great game, thanks! My favourite of the series so far. I love the detective work element of the game the most.
