Sorry I can't be more useful, but all I can suggest is to 'look' at everything, do a lot of walking around, and talk to everyone.

I played it using the 'hints' forum, there was no walkthru.  So be patient. You will enjoy the game.

I know the answer may be glaringly obvious but can anyone help me with 'Claire'? All I seem to be able to do is wander out of the bunkhouse down the corridor and into the mess hall where i get stuck because there is no way to get out, the only visible door being locked and lack of any other escapes. thanks.

I just replayed part of the game to try and help you.

In locker room, open last locker to the right (Maria's locker) you should have 7/18 points. Touch every picture and read what's in the back. Get out. Look at panel in the hallway. Open it. Now you have 11/18 pts. Go back to mess room, talk to Ed, get knife 13/18.Ã,  I will let you figure out the rest, otherwise I would spoil the game.

Sorry I can't remember but I know the pen was one of the first things I got. When I get a minute I will reload game and see if I can find it.

Right at the beginning, before you even leave your bedroom, look at desk, open drawer and the pen is inside

well that wasn't right lol, but I found the pasta pick up thing, tried getting the sock with that but that didn't work. Have to get back to my painting now, so hopefully by the time I get back to this you will have got further or at least found the gas mask, wonder where that is

I just restarted the game, and right at the beginning, the first thing I got was the freezer bag.

I had downloaded this game a very long time ago, had lots of trouble getting started as my screen always froze. But now I have finally completed this game and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it.  The characters are still very slow when they are walking/riding but it's worth the wait. 

If anyone has missed playing this game, this will give them the opportunity.  It's a great game and I'm sure you put a lot of work into it.

Did you ever do a sequel to this game   or have you done another game   If so, what are the names of these other games.

If I remember correctly, (it has been a long time since I played the game) you go into the Dojo (karate class) get the professor distracted???, put a chair to hold the door and you get doorstop

Last night I just gave up on the game.

This A.M. I read the answers I got from both forums, downloaded DirectX 8.0 again.  Don't ask, I don't know why  but MIRACLE IT WORKED. 

I have started playing the game and it sure looks great. Have to stop now otherwise I won't get any work done but I will be back in a few hours.

Sunshine, that is such a shame because yes its a very good game. If I was you I would email the creator of the game and ask his advice. I don't know much about directX didn't even know I had it lol, so I had a look under program files and sure enough there it was, I looked to see what version it was and it is 9. When I looked in the folder, there was just set up file. Maybe after you d/l directX you have to set it up. I don't remember doing any of this though so who knows. Anyway the creator's email address is olga@fabry.cz. If you do email him/her just remember to put the name of the game as the subject so that they know what its about and don't just delete the email. I don't think you will get an answer on that forum unless somebody technical reads it. I don't know if the creator checks the forum or not.

I don't have a walkthru but I just reloaded my game.

You get the key at the beginning (I had 9 points when I got it)

Go downstairs, look at bookshelf (left side, middle shelf - Harlequin's books) take green one or the one 'Key to my heart or something like that'.Ã,  This will be a box.Ã,  In your inventory take scissors to open box, and you get the key.

Have you called MIggs to ask him about the books or something like that.

Thanks but I have just downloaded from Mirror 2 (and it takes so long) and ran into the same problem, need Direct X 8.0 or newest version.  Downloaded 9.0 and there is always the same problem, it cannot copy 1 important file.

So thank you Joyce and Rosie but I guess I'll just forget about this game.  Too bad it did look like a very good game.

ok found key, geeze I looked through everyone of those books before. So everybody met in the travel room, they are going to have a seance, I have to now find 3 things. Did you get trap door open? if so how did you do that? Off to explore again, this one is really baffling me, not my calling being an investigator lol

Joyce, in which book did you find the key because I think I clicked through everyone and still no luck. I know there is one on the right side bottom that he can't remove but I can't do anything with that either.

I have already answered that question on a previous page:

How far are you in the game?  I got the key when I had 9 points only.  So you really get the box/book in the Harlequin section at the beginning of the game. After that you open the box with scissors which are in your inventory and you then have 15 points.

By the way, do you have the scissors?   Because you get those before being able to get the key.  Maybe that is your problem.
