Great, London's on fire.

This may finally be the kick I need to (re)learn to code/get my 2nd game done.

I can't draw for toffee, and I'm not sure if it's a valid entry as it not inspired by a song just something musical, but Trojan Records just seemed so obvious that I had to at least have a bash...

And here's a link.

I've got an idea that could work really well for this, I just need to see if I can finish the other game I'm failing to make before I can turn my attention to something new.

I can't recall if it's good form to vote if you didn't enter (which I intend to but I've finally started work on a new game and didn't want to get distracted) but if I can my vote goes to Discordance.

This time around I shall be tipping my wink towards Dualnames.

A Modern Romance

Nine times out of ten, that was what she had told him.  They had been sat behind the cinema, the yellowing, ageing brick work protecting them from the winds that battered to old building and the bridge which past over head.
They had spent the day chasing Amy's secrets and now he knew that nine of them were not even hers; just stolen stories, overhead tales and the fib which had come to replace sweet nothings.
She had cheated him of her past, she told him all of this.  He could feel her warmth next to him as he drove his hands deeper into the pockets of his over-sized coat.  He would not let himself slip, she was the shrew and he needed nobody.
He was fine on his own, he told himself.
It was true.  It always had been.
It was true.  It was.

Picking who to vote for was though but I'm going to go with Resisty's piece - it may not have flowed as well as some of the other entrants but it had some really nice little touches and his mystery was the one I found myself most intrigued by.

A fresh crack had appeared in the window.  Imogen had noticed it the morning before, though the other matters weighing on her mind had meant that she paid it no real regard.

These two bastard sentences have taken me about as long to do as almost any of my other entries (and I'm still not 100% convinced about the placement of the final "had")

This seems to be going well and the stories I've been passed have been interesting but have to admit I found it  difficult to come up with sections that had the same voice and tone as those that had already been done - I don't envy those that had the start the pieces and had the pressure of choosing a pitch that others would have to keep to.

I'm going to scrawl an X in the box next to Trihan's name.

This looks promising indeed and has been added the my highly exclusive "games-to-try-and-remember-not-to-forget-about-and-actually-play-when-they-come-out" list.

Well this is getting heated, which is always good.

And Trihan, the 4 was included to show that God is in the machine and as we all know he's meant to work in mysterious ways hence not keeping to the "rules" of binary. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking with it...

I'm putting a pregnant chad next to AtelierGames' name

Well yes, a programmes is what I need. But as well as that I need some that can turn my garbald ideas into something approaching a game - someone to insist on the adding of puzzles and "plot" and removing swearing and death (neither of which I've been led believe are as funny as I think they are) and I more than understand that that's a job that noone would want.

But I'm going to carry on making the sets and I'm sure one day I'll sit down and try and learn what I'm doing.

Really sorry about the mess around with the upload problems - I've been alway for a bit and filefront took all my stuff down without warning.
It can now also be found here (though I really should find somewhere new to upload)

As for the next game the future is looking unsure.  I attempted to make the first one on my tod and had to get Ali to pick through the mess I'd made and make the whole thing work (the finished game is quite different from the one I'd originally planned - in a good, far more user friendly, sorta way) but seeing as Ali has now selfishly upped sticks and moved to London to "follow his dream" I'm not quite sure what will happen.  I know what I'd like to do, just no real way/talent to do it.  But I haven't given up hope.

The feet pounded against the floor â€" metal â€" sound ringing,  The windows were broken and the sound crept through the cracks.  The feet kept pounding down the hall way.  My breath was short, my vision blurred.  I learned onto the door and the door gave way.

She was sat on the bed, her shirt undone.  I could not help but look and now hands were pounding on the the door.  I glanced towards the noise, taking in my new room â€" ceilings high, curtains ornate and not to my liking.  I turned back to my wife but she was gone.  The walls collapsed to the sound of the sirens blaring from the next building.  My wife was on the roof and before my heart could beat she had jumped.
