I think it's sad that one of the greatest minds of our time is famous for 'being in a wheelchair'...

Or m0ds could change the title to 'Trip on this. A stationary thread'

What's that? You want a free one?

You've probably seen it but:

Andrew Loomis - Fun With a Pencil

I printed it off recently and I think it's really good!

Nothing about cartooning in it though.

Meanwhile, I am awesome because a) my ancestors have been in my country a lot longer than any of your ancestors in your countries,

You know longer have my respect until you tell me that your ancestors are from a country called Ukbeistienmalogaloo.

And, as I said earlier, I too think General Knowledge is not a good measurement of intelligence. It just means you read too many encyclopedias.

Wait, how come we always give General Knowledge capitals?

general knowledge.

That's better.

I had a dream once where the forums were actually one big building, with newbies on the ground floor, and as you went up the floors were the more well-known members.

Anyway, one day CJ invited me up to the top floor to chat with the others, so I hopped in the elevator and went up.

Imagine my horror to find CJ, m0ds & Mr Colossal all waiting to kill me up there! CJ had these weird evil eyes & they were all holding guns!

I remember running away from them, along with some other members, before I woke up.

It was really strange...

Proskrito didn't get any love.....

I love Proskrito & Miez because they both have amazing graphical skills. Just look for any bgs or chars by either of them to see.

I think you do need to be logged in. It's asking me for it anyway.

Maybe you could copy & paste it or something?

...or I suppose we could all just register, but I'm far too lazy for that...

Is there anything to do after you get the tape playing? If so, what & how?

Thanks a lot, pstonie!

I couldn't get the Underdogs d/l to work, but thanks to you I can finally play this game!

As for the lack of voices: meh.

I heard about this a few weeks ago, 'Googlewhacking' was what I heard it was called, but hey, what's in a name?

Anyway, I tried it for about an hour back then (the point was to find a pair of words with only one site coming up) and I found it incredibly dull.

Dull dull dull.

So I got distracted & ended up watching some Magnum PI parody Flash cartoon.

Feel free to try it yourselves though.

I think it's one of the F buttons, probably F5 or F7, though I could be wrong.

Good luck!

I love how Sully only posted that to get other people to look at his guestbook.

You are a very smart man/woman/beast.

In that case.....

I love m0ds

I think there is a difference between intelligence & general knowledge.

Intelligence is if you are a great thinker, can do maths equations, can solve problems easily, are philisopical, etc etc.

General Knowledge is more memory. You could probably teach a parrot to remember the capital of Portugal, but that doesn't make it intelligent.

Look at quiz show contestants or people who always win the pub quiz every Thursday. Sure, they get all the questions right, but I doubt you could have a really stimulating conversation with them (some of them).

I'm not denying that you are intelligent, Vel, I just think there is a difference.

Now, everybody join hands....

When you were young and your heeeaart was an open book
You used to saaaay live & let live
(You know you did you know you did you know you did)....
But something something WUUUUUUURLD in which we live in
Dum dum give it a try
To live & let diiiiiiiie

You guys continue singing, I'm gonna run away & hope you don't notice...

ShatteredSponge, I love your devotion to m0ds & your sly sarcastic sense of humour.

But, to fit in with what you said, I don't like the way you treat Flip, & Yuf, & me......and anyone really! :P

m0ds poked me in the eyes several times with a big pointed stick. 17 of those times, it hurt. Thanks to 'Big Money Claiming Direct Evil Company Thingy', a bunch of lawyers got me £80 000 compensation.

If you had a trip or fall anywhere that wasn't your fault (or even if it was!) then call 'Big Money Claiming Direct Evil Company Thingy' on 0800 FAKE FAKE FAKETY FAKE. They promise to get you money somehow, even if it means kicking m0ds in the crotch.

While I like the idea of this compo, I don't think it's a good idea to start another activity in the C&A forum. I mean, look at the stuff going on there at the moment. You wouldn't exactly call them lively.

The last sprite jam got two entries. The last Background Blitz got one. The latest Photoshop Phriday (with brand new host Ali) is practically DOA.

It just seems people don't want to participate at the moment.

It's a shame.
