Meh.. Your average sandbox game. I'd choose GTA over that any day. :P

It's 27° C here. In Northern Ireland.

Forget everything I said about weather, because this changes everything.

Huh?

I'm actually thinking the same. What if you don't want to do what they tell you and you just... don't do it...?

Indeed it is! I love skiing actually, but all the time I'm not skiing the snow is just cold, wet and annoying...
#346
Actually it reached 32 yesterday here in Oslo! :)

But it's not like I'm looking for tropical heat there, but a more steady climate as you said. If I have the ability of avoiding snow without being inside all the time, I'm more than happy! ;D

Bwahaha. That should tell you something about Norway.

Seriously though, you'll enjoy it for sure. I studied in Brighton last year and I had a blast. Of course, it's not warm-warm, but it's nice anyway.

So it's warmer than the average scandinavian country? :D

QuoteNowhere in the UK has a warm climate.  It's temperate at most

Temperate? Compared to... Norway?
It's Africa!

;D

Curse you ;D Norway's actually one of the warmes countries in Europe these days!

I think it is an excellent sprite and a great edit. I think what might be wrong with the highlight, in my opinion, is the fact that he is wearing a huge hat! Otherwise I like it. Gives the effect of bright sunlight!

If you expect anywhere in the UK to resemble those photographs you are about to be sorely disappointed.

Haha! Yesh, I'm known for my high hopes and then falling straight down again, but I'm looking forward to it anyway! :) I talked to the people that went down there last year and they told us that it were a higher temperature than in Norway on the average.

Don't crush my dreams, people! ;D

Good luck! - Lykke Til!

My plans to move to Wales have been delayed a bit :P but I cant wait till the day I am moving!
Right now I am trying to get myself a job here in Norway that I am able to do in Wales.

What is it you will be doing there? :-/

Thank you! - Tusen takk!

I'm really looking forward to getting out of this place for some time too. Actually experiencing another culture (not that big gap tho) will hopefully prove an interresting experience! :)

I'll be going to school, basically. I'll be having most of the same classes as I have here in Norway, just presented in an 'English manner' or something..

And hopefully party as much as possible :=

You are pretty good, but have you actually checked the date on the threads you post on?
#351
Yes!

Some time ago I applied for this exchange thingy in school, and some days ago I got a letter saying I got accepted!! :D So after the vacation I'll be moving to Bournemouth, England and I'll stay with some "parents" there.

I'm really excited about this, not only because I'm going away for a year but also since Bournemouth is said to have a warm climate and this is where I like it best! :)

Does any of you AGSers have any exchange experiences like this? Would be nice with tips and such :)

Aaah! This is one of the most ridiculous religions ever concieved IMO. It is so absurd that there's just no words for it.

QuoteAnd yeah, I meant the original House on Haunted Hill which is about a million times better than that horrible remake they did.

Good! I haven't seen the original, but I saw the newer version and it were the usual Hollywood teenage (bad) splatter. I'll check out my local video shop and see if they have it. :) I'm a huge fan of thrillers and such, but most of the newer Hollywood ones are pretty darn bad..
#355
I would definately say the one to the left. The other one, IMO, seems too sterile. :)
#356
Do you mean the newer "The House on Haunted Hill" or is there an old version out  there worth watcing?
