I made this little fella for a short game i'm making. He is supposed to be a retired body-builder who just went broke. The res is supposed to be 320 x 200. Any c&c would be helpful!

And paintovers...

EDIT: Uploaded wrong version :P Fixing in 2 secs! FIXED!

Its not that we see the chair from the wrong angle, but it doesnt match the perspective of teh rest of the drawing.
The drawing looks very good other than that.

Noone saw the all to obvious anagram Rolf - Rofl?

He is just a fragment of our imagination after too much time sitting in front of a computer. He is a nightmare come to life. He is... The walking 1337speak!

Okee Dokee. Then i dunno what you did wrong. But the game did fuck with my comp. After the elevator cutscene the sound started fuzzing and after a while the sound just stopped. Not only in the game, but on the entire computer.

I got a few drawing programs with layers, but with layers you can't have antialiasing on the edges etc. Or can i? Because when i try to import saved layers that have areas without 100% opacity it looks weird.

It worked perfectly for me. Did you put in a music cd?

Suure... Noone believed him (how could they?), but he still tried to cheat! Its like saying that, if someone try to rob a bank but gets caught, they shouldnt get punished since they were caught. It is actually in no way possible to compare a bank robbery with the sprite jam :P But still...

Sorry if this has been topicized before, but i didnt find it with the search thingy.

I was just wondering, how do you guys make objects for games? I usually make the entire bg without any objects. Then i draw one object on the bg, save it as an image and crop it so that the only thing left is the object with the neccesary stuff around it.
Anyone got a better way? :-\ Thanks

And i hope you understood what i wrote :P

Oh my jolly god!:D This looks really professional! I just started playing (i am still in the "cell") but the intro was enough to make my heart beat faster! And the graphics is awesome!Ã,  But you must excuse me... I have to try this awesome game for a while :D

EDIT: And i had to stop playing it for awhile! I found one small bug, and something awesome! :D
Bug:
Spoiler
When you try to take the balloons, and the dog sneers at you, the guy with the funny name repeats what he said twice

Awesome thingy:
Spoiler
The CD player! And how it actually opens your cd rom. This might become a problem for people without cd-players tho. The few of them that dont have it

Aaah! My eyes... No critics but please, PLEASE, drop the textures! Even though, something looks better with textures, it dont mean you should change all the colours with textures :P And why on earth (just to not swear) are the microsoft hq made of fabrics?

Thanks for the replies folks. The hills in the background where kinda supposed to be far away, not fused with the plains where the house is. Any idea how i should make this more clear? Or maybe i should just change it to more like what nihilyst did.

nihilyst: Thanks for the paintover! I dont care if its my style or not, as long as i get the idea :)

I'm working on an edit now. Just keep the critics flowing :)

Ah... Sure! :P It's not really for a game. I just played around with artgem, and got pretty satisfyed with it. I tried to make it look like some sort of south-european landscape (italy, greece, spain etc etc.) I am just trying to upgrade my art-skills.
