hey i have a video recorded it's me explaining why i wanted to make star wars the new generation sires so goto and watch tell me what you think o@Ustream http://ustre.am/:1AoV6 !
I hope you put more energy into your game than you did your recording. Zzzz
Were you playing chess while watching tv while doing this recording?
no
You want to compile the voice acting (lines) before you make the game? That doesn't sound like a good method to me.. But yes stick to one game. And good luck. Also your latest "upload" to the games db points to a 16kb zip containing a .agf file that can't be played, you should re-upload it with the contents of your games 'compiled' folder.
I can't help it but laugh. :D
I'm sorry, but I'm struggling to understand what you are saying. Could you write a blogpost about it or something? It might make things a little clearer.
From what I can make out from this...Is that you're not sure why you're making this game either.
The only thing I hear when you're asked why you want to make this game is...Ummmmm...wellll..Ummmm...silence?
Crazy igg. Where is your storyline?
Fighting game or star wars teh new geurnaration? I'm confused.
Please remove the baked potato from the microphone before you do your next interview.
Other than that, your parody podcast is off to a good start.
i have also recrded a sires of my talking about star wars new ganaration and i want yur feedback as well.
newganaration.mp3 (http://www.bryvis.com/entertainment/other/agsf/newganaration.mp3)
Shouldn't it be "Garneration"? I think many Sith are looking for better garnments, and are probably up to building a new LOOMING Death Star, and that would make a totally good plot for a whole new trilogy:
A New Thread!
The Empire Knits Back!
Patching Up A Jedi!
Ryan: I am giving you this feedback: You should do voiceovers for Dtrah Avred!
are you serious about the plot or are you just messing around like everyone else
i don't know why you did that but it sure was funny even if you were just trying to imitate me
That was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. So thank you ig299, for inspiring Ryan to make the best clip I've ever heard around here.
Now that Ryan made it clear why you're making this game, I say you should do it. Let's just hope that Ryan remakes it afterwards so we can all play it
Fascinated by stick people hehe (roll)

No way man! I was being serious. I love stick figures and star wars. Very fascinating.
Of course I was mocking you. I could never be that boring or senseless. Talking randomly and not actually making sense or having any purpose to speak - let alone record it and ask for comments.

Lkeu.. I'm your father!
This is what I gathered from listening to your
video audio clip. It's very hard to understand.
QuoteHi, it's me.
And.. umm.. today.. I'm going to.. talk about the game I'm planning on making.
As I've already said before it's star wars the new generation.
And people were wondering about like, why you're tryin to make a series.
Well... it's because. umm.. there's two reasons for it.. one is umm.. because..
umm.. I.. I really.. I don't know about the story it.. it *something* very good, very good to me
the first time.. but like.. I dunno if there's enough action or something.. umm.. but.. umm..
I haven't played like the *something* dvd for it or something.
but I really.. *something* the awards for quite a while but.
I'm.. I'm gonna tell you why.. I did that. I decided to do that.
well. if.. and first of all.. while they're just stick figures.
if anyone of you have played umm.. those stick games on the internet.
where... stick heads... yeah. that's where I was going with this.
the.. they have.. they have good storyline and all that.. so that really grabbed my... desire to do that.
but i don't know.. maybe people are right. maybe i should just focus on one game.
but.. the thing about it.. the reason it took a little longer than I expected was because..
I don't want to start making it until i get all the voice acting done. i know..
and.. umm.. yeah.. so... this is why. i decided to do that. making.. make a series.
cause it'd be pretty interesting. i have.. i have some ideas for the series..
umm.. but i know what you guys gonna say.. so yeah.. and umm..
i really.. like.. i.. i was really looking forward to this the first time I started..
*something* no.. make something different. there's lots of star wars stories already..
or.. as much as *something* said. but.. i'm hoping for it to be good..
so i wanna know guys.. what does..
do you still think i should just make one game or do you still want me to make like a series..
maybe i put it on dvd.
so yeah.. tell me what you think in the.. in the comments.
i'm hoping to *something* ags forums. so yeah..
and you can tell me what you think.. and.. we'll go from there.. thanks.
I haven't a clue what you're talking about or what you have said in the entire clip. Either you're trolling us, or you were legitimately hit on the head with a frying pan (Left 4 Dead style).
Ryan, my hat is off to you for soldiering on through that entire bloody mess of a video and DOCUMENTING it!
*salutes*
oh man Ryan's recording just put me in tears... brilliant!
Lawls.
Here's what I've taken away from your proposal:
1. 'Um' is part of your daily vocabulary
2. You have no clue what it is you really want to do and are just meandering about hoping something happens
3. Recording your voice makes you nervous AND/OR uncomfortable
Here's what I've taken away from Ryan's mock proposal:
1. Tim Hortons Hears a 'What?'
2. Canadians STILL haven't learned how to pronounce 'about'

2. Canadians STILL haven't learned how to pronounce 'about'
Most important lesson Miz Lavigne taught me: It's "aboot".
I still think the game should be about actual garnments.
It always mystifies me that Americans think Canadians pronounce it "aboot," when that's clearly not how they say it. A phonetic transcription would be something like əbʌʊt. It's like, because there isn't a good way to spell it, they can't even hear it right. I mean, even "aboat" would be much closer.
It has always sounded like 'a-boat' to me but I enjoy stereotypes as much as the next guy.
Yeah I'd agree that I'm saying it closer to "aboat" than I am "aboot". But this is the thing that confuses me. I've been to nearly all of the US states and it's only a few that I hear say it differently. Actually to be honest a lot of the states I've visited have a very indistinguishable accent to my neighborhood (Southern Ontario). But if you seriously think I say "a boot" then you should definitely hear an Eastern Canadian speak. A Newfoundlander.
You're from Texas right? If so, that pretty much explains it. lol
Im canadian and pronounce it "ah-bowt"...I have cousins in newfoundland though and they definitely pronounce it "a-boot"...sounds pretty silly that way actually.
QuoteYou're from Texas right?
How dare you, sir!?
I am from the retirement state of Hot McSunland, aka Arizona. :~(
P.S. - that is actually sweat, not tears. High humidity this week has seen me probably sweat off about 10 lbs of water.
I can believe it. It's 27°C here right now and sweaty as all hell. But the humidity is at 48%. I definitely prefer the more dry and higher temperatures vs the humid yet lower temperatures. You're still hot, but it's not nearly as uncomfortable and feeling sticky.
What was this thread aboot again?
Let ME try to summarize:
1) Breathy dude attempts to enunciate a passion for stick men and Star Wars next garnaration. I assume this to be a type-0 and what was actually meant was
garneration (from garner, to gather -thus, the gathering). He appears to be thinking about maybe developing a stick-man Star Wars reunion, and is soliciting opinions thereon.
2) Other breathy dude clearly articulates the same passions (it's almost like phone sex if you listen to the tracks over each other).
3) Several dudes then misrepresent their geographical location. A certain supporter of Ron Paul
clearly can't hack it as a Texan, and a certain military man does not live in Canada but in some secret undersea base (or possibly a yellow submarine) at 0
o latitude and 0
o longitude along with the majority of AGSers.
4) A short debate ensues about perfectly acceptable weather not being perfect, and then the breathy Canadian clearly,
clearly said
QuoteYou're still hot
to the mock-Texan.
5) A heroic, if somewhat drunken effort is made to summarize the proceedings thus far.
6) The thread continues to spread in every direction, with absolutely no sense of closure or progress. Will the Stick Wars reunion dig up old grievances and petty rivalries? Will the mock-Texan rehydrate before developing some sort of sweat-induced bum rash? Will the breathy Canadian learn proper elocution and pronunciation? Will this rambling post finally kill a topic that doesn't really seem to have a point? Will nobody buy my incomplete 1989 Upper Deck baseball card collection on e-Bay????? Find out next time as the posts..... just keep coming.

I'm beginning to suspect this might have been the original purpose behind this thread. It has been suggested more than once that ig299 might be/must be a troll -- and isn't a troll's sole mission to cause chaos by random actions. In fact, I think he might be a member of the infamous internet activist group called Ignoramous.
So now, while he is temporarily banned, we only have each other to amuse ourselves -- and we are already stuck in a spiral of rivalry, each of us trying to be funnier than the previous guy. Which seems impossible at this point, Baron's taking Ryan's quote regarding physiological reactions to temperature and humidity out of context is, in my opionion, the highpoint of this thread (or perhaps the entire AGS history). I tip my ushanka hat to you, sir!

You know that whole 'it's only a dry heat' business? After being to some of the nastiest humid places (try Florida sometime) I can safely say it's a load of crap. High humiidity + moderate temperatures suck just as much as high temperatures and moderate humidity, trust me.
Come visit me when it's 115+F sometime. :)
115 :O Thats crazy.
Its been pretty hot here.

To be fair, only a few brave souls can hack it as Texans. It's a manly life, suited for manly men. Those poor souls that face the trials and fail are sent west to suffer the rest of their days in the blast furnace heat of Arizona. ;)
Also, aboot this secret undersea AGS base. I think the PM system hiccuped or something, because I never got my invitation to move to Rapture with the rest of you. Could somebody please check on that? It's hot as hell here in Texas. A summer home under the sea would be great.

I was just in Florida the end of March. I know, it's not exactly the hot season but it was definitely comfortable.
Yes, they both suck just as badly as the other. I just know it feels sticky and gross when it's humid (I'm going to be misquoted again - darn it).
At least when it's hot without humidity you can sit comfortably in the shade with a breeze or fan.
Sheesh, I hope he was a troll; otherwise, you're all a bunch of jerks! Jerrrrrrks!
I think he was just a bit off in the head, you know?
He's been contacting me via every possible avenue (Youtube comments, Deviantart etc) begging ME to contact the moderators to "let him back in". I say good riddance, and if it's up to me, he can stay out!
He's been given a thirty-day ban, but if he's harassing members through other channels, that can be made permanent. Do you have links to his attempts to contact you?

Nah, I blocked him on youtube and deleted his only message so far on Deviantart, so nothing to show for it anymore. I also think my response made it clear enough that I was not on his side, so I don't think he'll be contacting me anymore.
people look i am not a troll ok and i am not off in a head and i don't belong to any groups
This was funny but unfortunately i changed my idea so there won't be stick figures anymore
