The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

The last chapter of humanity will soon begin. A game about transformations and destiny, that confronts ourselves with our own existence. (You need the Indeo video codec and a fast machine for this demo)

AGS Awards Wins

Won, Best Demo 2008

4 people commented on this game (newest first):

Wheather he makes it commercial or not will be Woltaire's decision. But given all the commercial games around AGS that exist now I am sure that someone would buy this. This author is already among the top 10 of AGS game developers given the AGS game award list as a ranking. So he surely will reach his audience whatever he does... But I also don't see why a demo would point to a commercial release. There never was a production thread about this game at the AGS forums. So I doubt that it will be released in November after all.

Why assume that the game will cost money? Just because there's a demo doesn't mean it's going commercial. The game releases in November so the demo might just be to peak our interests in the interim.

I think that AGS is one of the best engines, I don't get this comment about it not being advance enough? Beside of that I think that Le Woltaire deserve to get something from his work! He already gave us 2 of the best AGS games ever to play for FREE isn't that enough?
I support your idea about selling the game! And I think that piracy is not the thing to worry about when adventure game genre is in question, ESPECIALLY AGS games. People here realy love adventure games, somebody will for sure buy it :)

Good ideea to sell the game (not that anyone would buy it knowing what the pirate teams are capable of), but that thing with the "really fast machine" intrigues me. I'll try and see if it works on mine and then I'll probably comment it more. Anyway, in my opinion all AGS games should be free. Those who want to sell should find a more advanced game engine. Anyway, you decide if you make free or commercial games.
