The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

In My Siblings, the Stones, a dropout mage
finds herself stranded in an unfamiliar village, and must help the
locals solve a thorny problem in order to find her way home. Explore a
history-infused settlement, discover unexpected clues, and learn who can
help you as you navigate a damaged land. And maybe, with persistence,
begin to learn magic.

Playtime: 30-45 minutes

Lately, I've been enjoying relatively short games, akin to short films or short stories. I've played several of RootBound's work, and among all their games, this one appears to hold the most promise for evolving into a slightly longer game or even a small saga. The music, graphics, and storyline are all thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This is a really lovely little game! Despite the minimalist design in many aspects, it really drew my into the world and felt like a little slice of a richly detailed game world. The few animations that there were really added to the game, and the music was superbly chosen. Not many puzzles, but still a bit of work for the old grey cells wrapped up in a genuinely intriguing narrative experience.. Would love to see more adventures by our failed but somehow successful apprentice mage!
