This is a non-adventure game created in AGS.It has some RPG elements, but it is basically a card game (or a turn-based game if you want). You play as a magician who wants to conquer the land using dark spells and creatures. You gain experience as you go and there are also some other elements that the player might like.

This game seems to be rather unknown in the world of AGS which I think is quite a shame.
Although not an adventure game, this is a very well thought out strategy game, with a perfect difficulty level.
But however there is a major drawback in that the game can be most confusing. Even when reading the manual, I was still left scratching my head a lot of the time. Maybe it was just me, but some concepts didn't seem very clear, like how to steal from a merchant. Still, despite all that, I managed to find my way through and finish the game.
Worth a go.
