The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

A fun-filled 45 minutes of adventure gaming, that just left me wanting more to play! Luckily there is also a free feature length game when I look upon the website :)

Apologies if anyone had tried to download the demo recently and been unable to. This has now been fixed.

I found it quite funny, and the puzzles were pretty good too. The graphics were just okay. I wish the character would walk faster (I lose patience easily with that sort of thing). Overall its a pretty solid game. I don't have a desire to purchase the full game. Mostly because I have no idea what the continued storyline would be, and I'm not so sure I'm interested in what comes next in the story.

I like this Captain Disaster guy (kinda reminds me of me). I loved the stapler tech support and the petrified pizza bit too. Classic!

I enjoyed this demo. The graphics and animation are sharp enough to provide the required environment, the puzzles are very well crafted. The voice and sound add an excellent touch to the project.

One essential criterion that I use in assessing a game is the plot, how it's developed and executed, and how the puzzles contribute. This being a demo with only one main objective, it's too early to tell how this will pan out.

However, I would be optimistic considering the effort and success of this achievment. Best wishes to those involved and I'm looking forward to the completed project.

The puzzles were spot on and the voice acting was good. I'm looking forward to playing the full game!

A great little game with nice graphics and humour which plays on pop-references to sci-fi that most of us love and enjoy. Nice novelty with some of the interactive elements.

The overall production quality of this demo is top notch. The animations are fantastic, the humor is lovely, the references are many, definitely a wonderful game.

I really liked it. I thought it was funny and engaging and challenging without being too frustrating. I really wanted to keep playing and would have bought it immediately if game was complete.

I really loved this demo and literally laughed out loud at certain parts of the demo! I can't wait for the full game, the humour is brilliant and the voice acting really adds to the experience! Great job guys!

Ok, so I did have a hand in creating the game and doing some voices but that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion! This was a really well made demo put together by some great people (CaptainD and Taxler Endiosk). They had a lot of this in place before I ever lent a hand to the project and I want to congratulate them on a job well done and a demo well made!

Story line is funny and immersing, sprites are quirky and neat, music is excellent and the voice acting ain't too shabby!
