The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

This game has stunning visuals and an interesting storyline... The abrupt ending kind of made me long for more, but in a way I think it's just perfect for the concept. I'm sure some questions will stay in my mind for quite a while longer after finishing it.

Loved it! Very tight, well paced and immersive short horror game.
My only minor complaint would be about fade outs that occur every time player picks up or uses an item. I much more prefer traditional "pick an item, item diasappears". But it's no big deal :)
I demandz moar!

I really like the ambient music throughout the game, and the character portraits are really well done and suiting for the genre. This would be a great immersive game if it has ten hours of gameplay.

This game has sinister music, and perfect voice acting, I was drawn right in. A truly great MAGS game, but I would love to see an extension, and a more climactic ending.

Very good MAGS game, but damned to short! graphics and sound design are great (with voiceover !).
I am not that fond of the cheap fade-in that cover missing animations, though.

This was a fun but short game. I hope they make some longer games like this in the near future.

A MAGS with a nice presentation. It's reminiscent of classic horror games (Call of Cthulhu, Silent Hill).

Great graphics and good sound work. The story setup is pretty good and the pacing feels right, but it felt rushed towards the end, when the story was starting to get interesting.

A+ MAGS game. I love the way the deceptively pleasant backgrounds pull you into the dark interior of the story.
